| im wondering if Sandercock had them training at 8 or 10 past.
we played some good stuff first half, Kris Keating finally turned up, we still can't defend and were opened up out wide too easily though. second half was pretty much the norm, poor discipline cost us that game, back to back penalties will kill you and the problem is we love giving them. Kris Keating went missing again but was still far better than Burns.
im not sure what Shaun Wane said at half time to sort out Wigans defence but IMO we simply stopped asking questions of them.
Once a team gets a bit of momentum against us were doomed.
his substitutions leave a lot to be desired too IMO, Green and Cox have been great so far but hardly played last night. Costalot was none existent again.
I don't think Sandercock has it in him, but who else is out there.
oh yer and the pass was forward (just)

You look at the games individually and you're right. But looking at them as a group, you'd maybe hope for one positive surprise. Because we'll certainly have games where we drop points disappointingly. And also we've been well off the pace, playing well worryingly sporadically.
I thought there were one or two tiny green shoots last night. Then again Wigan's 17 didn't look much on paper.
We need to avoid 'slipping up' in the next two games both for the points and for confidence.

| From an outsiders point of view I thought your team had a strong forward display (Weyman looked outstanding) and seemed to make yards up the middle but your defence out wide looks weak and there seemed to be a lack of consistent creativity from your pivots once you got near the Wigan try line second half. Didn't know Costigan was playing so must have been poor but you look on paper to have a real quality pack.
It would have been good to see Wigan get beat for a second week in a row but last 20 mins it went their way.

Grow up & get real, Rovers are a mid table team with a mid table budget mid table crowd & a mid table ground & guess what we are around mid table. We have just played four of the teams that we all expected to contest the top five spots in the league & we have lost to them as most pundits thought we would. We have played well in short bursts & there is room for a vast improvement but thats what we get when you change half the side. As for those who say we deserve better on what do you base that asumption on? We as suporters deserve nothing there are not enough of us to make the club viable without large inputs of cash from TV & sponsors. We get what we pay for 13 home games a year plus a few cup ties if lucky. You either suport Rovers or you dont thats our choice nothing more nothing less, just stop whinging like a pub full of Aussies If you are not happy go & watch darts or somthing else. I follow the club because thats what I do, I follow League because I love it. Just leave the running of the club to the people who own & pay for it. & just give the players your suport instead of decrying every effort they make.'"
You have a strange notion of mid-table...
Rovers cannot afford to dilly dally for too long else we are back to the mid 90s...there are no escape routes aside from what happens on the field...

I am not satisfied with where we are but understand the reasons why,I have been pitching up to watch the club since February 1962 & have seen good bad & utter rubbish played home & away thats what I expect, some good some bad. It is not my right I don't deserve good or bad it just happens, its sport, thats the way it is. Mr Hudgel might have hight ambitions & I hope he gets them but it is not our right, there are 13 other teams trying thier best with varying results, We are where I expected us to be having lost by far the best half in the competition & rebuilding the team over the closed season. I also expect our side to finish around 7th or 8th. I just get fed up of the same old faces expecting instant results without the hard work & effort that is usualy required to advance & improve. The side that our coach has built will come good & it will come sooner if we all give them & the club our full suport.

It's my right after spending £230 quid on a pass, £45 on a shirt, £2.50 on matchday programmes, spending money behind a bar, getting to and from home and away matches to have my right of say whether you like it or not. And I've seen good and bad since my first game in 1979, the past doesn't bother right now, it's the now that I'm bothered about. And I hope your right about the team coming good, what this debate about is if Sandy is up to the job. He clearly isn't.

I want the board to act now! Whats the point of dragging things on longer than necessary. Tho, it's up to Hudge. The longer he stays and fester's at our club, the more money he will lose. I know a fair few fans who already stay away from home games because he's in charge.

Based on current form there is zero chance of you finishing below Catalans and London. Neither team look able to buy a win.

False. Sport isn't some kind of coin flip and sometimes your up and sometimes your down. There are many definable reasons for good and poor form. And you don't need me to tell you this. If fans want to discuss these factors, that is unquestionably their right. And yours for that matter.

| I dont think the people who are saying Sandercock needs to go necessarily have ambitions that are beyond our team. For the past 3 years we have been a 7-9th placed team. Is it really unreasonable to have ambitions to break into the top 6 after that time, with the coach now having had the chance to build his own team, structures etc. Our defence has been awful for far too long and its going to keep costing us games, CS clearly cant fix it. Ok so we might beat the lower teams, finish 8th and lose the first playoff game but I cant see us achieving any more under our current coach. He has had enough time, change is needed for us to progress on the field to match our off field growth.

None of them have anything to do with how 'deserving of better' we perceive ourselves to be though. What we want or will accept is more relevant, but as long as the players and coaches are trying their best, we can't add wronged to disappointed.
Easy for me to say, in some respects I know! Going to see us vs Bradford next week though!

| I think we all know we're not gonna win the grand final,we know we're not likely to win the likes of Leeds and Wigan away. But we also know that on paper this team shouldn't be shipping 30+ points every game and look like we're gonna concede every time the ball goes out wide.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
