To be fair this is the first price increase for 2? 3? years. League position has naff all to do with it IMO, if you can afford a pass buy one if not, then don't.

I agree, it's utterly terrible, every match (which I won't be attending anyway thanks to you pointing out the disgraceful pricing arrangements) I shall leave a tap running in the toilets until it has wasted exactly twenty six pence worth of water.

So, what do you anticipate the sales figs showing? The RM stand has been a sell out every year and there is a waiting list (I may have just made that bit up). It will continue until we get more seats.

Why are you getting embarassed? No need, you don't even like us.
Did your team drop it's prices after finishing 11th out of 12 in 2008, or 12th out of 14 the following year?

| In truth, nearly all SL clubs should be making a similar increase because they are nearly all making a loss. It sounds worse because Neil Hudgell appears to be more open about it than most other clubs.

Cas appear to be going through a similar process, appealing to fans to back the club with cash.

true but you've had the club rovers payment too.
Hudgell isnt daft and fans aren't either.
both realise that pass prices have to increase if the club is to have any chance of breaking even.
Quote: Little Robin Redhead "Surely the £2.50 is some basic contribution to the cost of the pass itself. I have never seen the said pass, but £2.50 would be a reasonable price.
They are not charging for the games, just the actual ID. A bit like the government who charge for Passports to allow you to come and go as you please, rather than bringing several ID's down to passport control along with your doctor to confirm your ID every time you travel.'"
thats fair enough

| RPI has been at ~4.8% the last couple of years, CPI not miles behind.

Most people, like myself, will have gone to the club shop to get their passes in mid October, they'll have been informed that the little one is free, but if they want their own season pass to stop the hassle of queuing every game, it will cost £2.50, they would just buy it there and then and be done with it.
If there is a single person out there that refuses to pay the £2.50 and instead, queues up routinely every home game, I'm glad I don't know them.'"
Is the having to queue up to get an under 5's pass down to card scanners on the turnstiles? At KC my little un just comes through the turnstile with me when I show my season pass. Just wondering if there will be a similar scenario at KC next season as we move to card passes?

I thought that bit wasn't too bad, works out at £3.46 per game v £5.00 at the KC. Does the charge include friendlies / cup / play off games?

I have no idea, Little one was born back end of 2011 season, we are RM pass holders but were in the 10-5 restaurant for the last 4 games so entered the ground through the reception and little one wasn't ID'd. In the off season we went to get our new 2012 passes and asked about little one, this is where we were told that entry is free but we'd need to prove age every time, they didn't suggest where we would go to do this, perhaps just at the turnstile? We actually wanted a pass with her name on to put with her first shirt. They did say it was £2.50 to cover cost of pass.

| What Isn`t going to and doesn`t and hasn`t helped season pass sales is the short payment options at a time of year when expenditure is highest.. It has been suggested to the board many times to extend the payment options on passes and thus make them more attractive to a slightly wider market..
just checked and they are still only splitting to 3 payments according to the SO form... all of which has to be paid prior to the season starting.....
This IMO is where the club need to alter its approach and quickly... £80+ for 3months in the lead upto christmas then on top of that they expect us to buy shirts.. It pushes fans away as they cannot sort that sort of expenditure so soon to christmas, even worse for those that buy multi passes..
Then on top of that you have HullKRTV...£35 for a year...sure its still relatively poor quality but its still cheaper than £250 for a proper pass.. Neil and KR are just going to drive more people away due to lack of affordability which will ultimately hurt them more in the long run..
We are also still in a financial meltdown in the country.... the Board say they understand this and what do they do?.. Put the ruddy prices up..
rant over..

did you also make it up about the RM stand selling out year on year because members of my family have just bought seats 2 days before games on 3 separate occasions this season including the wigan match
