The Taylor one is interesting, mainly because he's a Hull lad whom everyone claims to know indirectly and is so highly prized by Rovers fans that he's been the subject of threads demanding he gets a 5 year deal. This therefore makes him "signing for Hull" an obvious wind-up. It could also be a deliberate bad news rumour by Rovers fans to be transformed into a good news contract extension story on derby week, for example - you know the drill. The reality is he's homegrown and a great prospect, and should therefore be a top priority. I'm sure he is, and a few weeks ago someone on here said the talks had taken place already, just wouldn't be announced yet.

My point was, that people around me were saying that Taylor was going to Hull but they didn't think it warranted him being booed, yet other people may have been booing Shannon because he was, (in their minds) going to Hull.

McDonnell - doesnt want to stay, rejected off, (byebye) shouldnt of been booed still here for another half of season, we booed on his hatrick try to take the out of them booing him earlier on.
Lovegrove - agent is doing the rounds with other clubs as we are yet to offer anything. player concentrating on playing rugby before making any decisions as of yet. (we should be offering a contract!)

On the booing of Shannon, to me it was an expected reaction. He has rejected Rovers so what else can he expect?

However, he put in a brill performance today and showed he was still up for the cause.

Only booing i heard today was in jest when Dobbo missed a kick..... however i was listening to radio at the same time so may have missed any more booing...
