Quote Sandra The Terrorist="Sandra The Terrorist"Once again, I'm going to stick up for him.
The try he scored on Sunday took some scoring. He needs to back himself and his pace more, given the ball in the clear on Sunday in the second half he should have hugged the touch line and not come back inside, he would have been under the sticks, that's a confidence issue.
People are jumping on him and making him a scapegoat, he's got genuine raw pace.
I like Brown a lot, but his defensive positioning was all over the place at times, he exits very, very well though.
I think that if we keep Brown, Caro and Eden together and drill them as a unit could turn into a very dangerous triumverate.
All three have a hell of a way to go in defence, but, if we get them playing as commrades in arms it might really click.
Over to Sandercock.
I think the pair of them, if we keep the'"
In all fairness i think that is a good and accurate description of Caro and Brown.
In Caro i believe we have a player who is quite raw which has seen him come up with a few errors and lost quite a bit of confidence as a result.
However, he has something which you either have or don't have and cannot coach into a player and that is... RAW PACE!.
In Brown we have a player who is not quite as fast as Caro but is very strong and usually direct, however, one of his shortfalls is his positioning which you have rightly pointed out as all over the place at times.
Both these players are still relatively young(especially Caro) and if Sandy can iron out their flaws and instil confidence in Caro then who knows what may be possible with both of them in the future.
I believe all rovers fans should reserve any real judgement on either player until probably the back end of next season.
