| Quote Edith="Edith"Carlile is always raring to go and this has shown in his performances, his sponsor (whom is in contact with Keal on a regular basis) has said he (Keal) is fit and well.
One point I would pick up on, Easty. Withers, O'Hara and Tuimavave all need to play first team to regain match fitness, there is no option of playing in the 19s or out on dual reg, therefore, the logic says that Carlile, Green and Beaumont should be hard to budge from the first team. The coach is picking a player in Withers, who won't be with us next season and can't be match fit having had a spell injured, over a young prospect who hasn't put a foot wrong.
Thought we wanted young British players? Why drop them the moment 3 overseas players are available (not match fit), two of which over 30.
Experience?'"
I agree completely about Carlisle but I also think that a fully fit Withers adds to Rovers squad. Withers needs to get match fit and the only way he can do that with the ludicrous academy rules is to play in the 1st team. Maybe if we had a competition where Withers could get fit then Carlisle wouldn't have lost his spot. Still having three fit hookers is a bonus.

| Tough game for rovers and wakey were pretty good against us last week but we defended like we did tonight and they had no answer. I think the bookies have this one right at scratch and it could go either way. Their wingers give them great momentum from kick returns. Depends on how tim smith plays IMO

| Just glad Caro has been dropped in favour of Brown.
Suprised we simply haven't released the deadweights already (Withers, O'hara and Latus)

Assuming we have to pay up their contracts, what possible advantage would releasing them give us?

Wakefield +6 is the bet.

| The continued inclusion of Mika is astounding.
Critical game and one I fully expect us to lose.

Yeah, I'm nervous about this one. Kind of assumimg the worst, as a defence mechanism. I really want to get behind the team, as much as I can listening on the radio a hundred miles away, especially with it containing so many inexperienced young lads, but it is hard to have much genuine belief at the moment. Bit of a wider malaise with the club's future still unclear, too. Still, tomorrow might be the day our form and fortune start to turn, you never know.
Who would you put in in place of Mika? yet another 'kid' is the only option, and one right down the 'kid' pecking order given how many are playing anyway.

| Yeah, I suppose we're a bit stuck, I just tried to do it and it didn't go well. Is Welham actually fit?
I think we'll line up something like this;
Hall, Hodgson D, Welham, Salter, Brown, Burns, Dobson, Walker, Hodgson J, Lovegrove, Mika, Horne, Griffin. Cox, Withers, Paea, Beaumont.
Or, spell Josh Hodgson into the second row and not play Mika because he's a liability but that would have required Green to be in the squad.

It would have also required Dave Hodgson to be in the squad!
