Like what? Their all under age so cant sign contracts and shouldnt be even spoken to about contracts. Therefore if thats whats imminent were as bad as our neighbours for doing the same thing.

I think the Hull FC player is called Tyson-Wilson(?) who is apparently being taken out of the final few weeks of school to go and train in Australia, possibly at Keebra Park where Benji Marshall went but that may be crossed wires. This is being funded by Hull FC and was set up by Gentle and McRae. There are rumours he has been offered a contract at Hull FC that is quite a substantial amount especially for a 15/16yr old. How true this is I could not be sure but rumours are rumours and there is no smoke without fire. I am pretty sure all clubs do it and have loopholes to get them out of any of the smelly stuff! Also if he is 16 then there is nothing wrong with offering him silly money. Horne was playing first team at 16 afterall!

As for Hallett, he is training really well and Sandercock has recently spoken to him about staying with the club and believes he could be a first teamer before his 18th birthday. He trained alongside Withers a few weeks ago and said Withers was amazing, he is also very impressed by Sandercock which bodes well for Rovers if we are to keep these youngsters.

These players are going to be coming together soon at a combined Hull junior side and will benefit from playing alongside each other a lot more. Some may not like the idea of combining the youth teams but if we have the best youngsters playing alongside each other they can only get better and not be held back by the ones that are only there to make up the numbers. Might sound harsh but that is the bottom line of this decision and a very important move if the two Hull clubs are to get the best talent playing in both red and white and black and white.

Good post Nick, you are right it's Harry Tyson Wilson, it's Ex Hull and Rovers son Rob Wilson. He also has an older brother at Hull called Bobby who looks an excellent prospect also.

And a younger brother called George Tyson Wilson... plays for West Hull U12s
