Just becasue we won doesn't necessarily mean the decision to drop Hall was right, and in my view it wasn't right. There were far too many changes in the side to conclude that we won because Hall was dropped and even those changes ignore the effect the oppositions mind set, team selection and strategy had on the game.
At the moment I would have Hall in for Webster every time. I would like to say otherwise, I really would. I would like to see Webster tearing up defences out wide and reallly smashing into the opposition, he's a big powerful lad, but he's just not doing it I'm afraid.
As good a club man as Nevo is, I think when he comes on the opposition must mentaly relax a little knowing that Rovers attacking threat is lessened. Defending a lead with 10 minutes to go, he's your man, but against Wigan we won't win by out defending them and if we can get a few points on the board they are prone to losing the plot and giving away penalties. Give them a lead and they'll relax and romp away with it, keep with them try for try (or get a couple up on them) and they will crack.
Come on you Reds!
