Personally I also think the 'novelty' factor has worn off a bit, and people maybe aren't prepared to pay £17 or whatever it is, to sit in the golf stand and be rained on any more.
I guess improving the ground with more east stand and hopefully a new north stand, might represent better value for money to non-hardcore/fair-weather support. Also Hull FC have a had a decent season, whereas ours has been pretty average so far.

I think you maybe right, it is difficult keeping the newer fans interested so results this season could be a major factor...I genuinely know six 15 years old (my sons friends) who went to Rovers last season, but now go to FC...I asked one of them why they now come and he said, the ground was better and his mates went to fc (which I suspect is the biggest influencing factor). |

think maybe if we gave 2000 tickets away each home game like fc do then we may break the 10,000 mark, and prob if we ad a football stadium to play in it mite attract more fans who nos. We mite not ave as many fans but we certainly sing like we do well except for the last few thrashings we ave ad the last few games......

Presumably the other clubs in the league with improved attendances are also giving tickets away? |
