| Murrell played for Leeds academy at full back for a stint and did very well, has always stated that he's a half/full back. Added to that Goddard would fit in there nicely too.
No not only two half backs with Murrell at the club along with Chester and Gene too.
Agree about the props although its not doing too badly this year only two points behind the top 6 after the halfway stage.
Kirk Yeaman hasn't signed for Hull yet and there is no smoke without fire and the rumours are saying he's been talking to Rovers. (How true I dont know).
Senior wants to finnish his career at Leeds but if Leeds are to prepare for life without Keith they need to bring through Gibson so maybe a month by month loan for Senior next year would be an option.
Fitzgibbon as I stated is only a rumour but then who'd have thought a lifelong Parra man in Vella would turn out for HKR. Added to that he still had a year to go on his Parra contract.
O'Neil is having a cracking season up to now and if he can stay injury free will certainly warrant a place in next years squad, Gallagher is a good squad player who is solid and every club needs one of those. Ward may not have done great but he's not let anyone down and always plays a solid game.
Also this was not what he thought the team would be for next year this is what he thinks would get us into the top 6 next year.

1. Scott isn't mature enough as a player to oust Cooke at Five-Eighth. His elusive running will be exceptional at Full-Back and may be safer under the high ball than Cockayne.
2. Murrell & Lennon can play at Half-Back but also fill other roles, doesn't hurt to have a more versatile squad.
3. Front Row is an area we need to improve with a blockbuster but not many about. Our pack is getting better with every week and isn't so shabby. Underrated Hull lad Snitch will add power and punch to our pack.
4. Kirk Yeaman needs no introduction, GB Centre!
5. Keith Senior is still looking excellent even at 31 and is available at the end of the year.
6. Craig Fitzgibbon is a living Aussie legend, would cause havoc in Super League.
7. O'Neill is a superb player and one of the best, Gannon is good but doesn't punch holes the way we need, and Gallagher has played very well whenever called upon this season. Stanley is all that's keeping him out!

| all though i can see your point ash i honestly think the vast majority of this squad would be more than capable of been in the top 6 and also become quite comfortable in playing at this level..
i dont think HKR will see the top 6 for at least another 2 years but again i think if youd ask any sensiable hull kr fan and and they would have been more than happy to take staying in this division for 2 seasons.
the problem we have this season (and many have noted this in previous statements) is we have the disadvantage of been slightly behind in picking up players this year due to the grand final date last season.
i also belive we will stay upthis year just but again i feel we are at a slight disadvantage as we not be seen as a serious contender for the top 4 ,so again we will IMO not be able to attract top top SL players.
once the 2 seasons are out of the way i belive that players will be more willing to come to the club as they see it as an established sl team rather than a team destined to be battling all seasons against the odds and looking down the barrel of relegation.
theres going to be the odd 1 or 2 top players that will be mentioned as been targets for hkr ,imo we already have 3-4 top players that would be in the 17 of any in the top 6 at the momment.
id also like to add i would be more fearful of the future if i was an FC fan as an established team in SL for the past few seasons who had serious ambitions of finishing in the top 3 this season, its become apparent that this is not gonna happen as our team seems to have lost its way and are also struggling to sign any player at the mo never mind a super star.
paul cooke was is a massive signing for us but more important is a massive loss to you not only to the team but ur ambitions and confidence as a club..

He won't be at Rovers next season, although I still don't think he'll be at Hull either. Hopefully, I'm wrong and he'll stay at Hull.

Murrell hasn't got the pace to play full back, but he is a very good player none the less.
The point about the Yeaman, Senior and Fitzgibbon is that they won't sign for Rovers, not how good they are.
O'Neill, one of the best? I assume you mean in the Rovers squad and not in SL?

I assume you haven't seen his performances? You saw the game against Hull, he knocked on three times, possibly out of 5 he's knocked on all season but hey other than the three knock ons he was one of our top performers in that game.
Why wont those three want to sign for HKR? A SL team with ambitions, as a fan your expected to look no further than the end of your nose but as long as Rovers are in the SL these players will be looking at their bank balances and not a lot else. Imagine the convo with Justin when he tells these players that they'll be playing alongside two GB centres and an Aussie international second row coupled with the likes of Vella, Cooke and Gene. With that kind of a squad these players would be mad not to want to play in it!!!
Oh and since when has Wellens and Withers had pace? Yet they are regarded as two of the best full backs to have ever played in the SL over the past 10yrs.
