Amazing win given the quantity and quality of Rovers players unavailable. McGuire is wondering if he will ever play in a derby game.

A strong Hull team were found wanting they got back into the game because of a try that should have been disallowed and Maurice Blair getting sin binned for complaining about it.

The diagonal kick to the big winger is pretty much all they had to offer but it worked like it has so many times before. Other than that they had little to worry a makeshift Rovers team.

Very satisfying that such a scratch Rovers team can beat a strong Hull FC line up but we must now prepare for more important matters.

Yep agree bobness. They only seem to be able to score of kicks, must be the worst attacking side in the league by far with ball going through hands.

we are in a hole atm, be glad when the season finishes, imo a few out on the field shouldn't be, I know you laugh about it but injuries have done us this year, it happens in sport and you was gonna win one sooner or later, again best team won,

Scruton’s shoulder charge was a comically obvious penalty - but it was nowhere near the head. Jewitt?
If they do them, then they’ll probably do Mulhern for his clearly accidental awkward tackle in the first half, just to be sure. I Shouldn’t give them ideas! Just because i’m paranoid...

Gutsy performance from a scratch team in a frantic game. Nice to get the win and the next couple of weeks prep off the back of it will be crucial. They all looked knackered at the end, but hopefully no serious injuries.

Post of the thread and so true! Should be posted before every Hull Derby. I watched my first as a boy in 1946 and predicting outcomes is a mugs game again proved by the result last night.

Well done Rovers for again confounding the odds and a majority of their supporters on here. Hope the lesson is now well and truly learned!

Great performance with 13 players missing,notice eddie mentioned how injury hit hull were,if you whine enough,people believe you.I wish to eat humble pie about danny tickle I was scathing about his signing and he has been great for us,all credit to him.
I thought also,blair apart from his brain fart was great and has been terrific all season,hall and crooks look good signings,imo hall should not have gone in the 1st place.
All in all a deserved win imo,but what has gone wrong at hull,I thought griffins attempt to get mulhearn in bother for his tackle was pathetic,and shaul gave a potential oscar winning performance then carried on.Well done but the qualifiers will be a lot tougher,fingers crossed.
