Quote Mild Rover="Mild Rover"Times are tough, Hull are playing poorly, the South stand is poor - especially compared to what they have become accumstomed to and the game is on Sky, its not a massive shock, IMO.
The only point I'd maybe disagree with is that it will hit Rovers in the pocket. I'm not sure that selling Sth Stand tickets at £10 would have brought in the more than 400 extra FC supporters, that would have turned an extra penny.
When the East stand is extended at its Southern end, perhaps the south stand can be retired, or eventually replaced. Tbf, it isn't just Hull fans who are unimpressed.
Hull fans - would you be more keen to attend a derby at the KC as away fans? At least one of you has suggested that might be boycotted too.'"
Rovers will be hit in the pocket for sure, 600 not attending at £20 each is £12k in lost revenue, coupled with a larger than normal police bill.
If Rovers were to ever stage a derby at the KC as the "Home" team of course people would boycott...I would go as far as saying some Rovers fans would too.
I honestly think the true nitty gritty for people not turning up this time around is not just the ground, we are poo and a lot of fans are expecting a drubbing, easy to take when it's Leeds or Saints, not so easy when you are sharing the bus home with you lot
I'm not attending for different reasons, however had we been playing a bit better, the kick off being earlier and players actually caring then things may of been different.
