Out the 15 how many do we realistically intend to keep on. I'd love Paea, Carlisle, Griffin. I would be mildly dissaponted to lose one or two of the youngsters and maybe Brown & Mika but nothing we can't solve.

i hav'nt seen enough of the young ones in action to be able pass judment, however the ones i have mentioned would allow the club some additional cash which they could then offer to other players that the club realy need to retain if they are going to stand a chance of at least holding their own in SL, plus, also making the club a more attractive proposition to any investor who may currently be talking to the clubs directors.

Hard to say, without knowing how much money and ambition there'll be. Or who'll be coach.
If it were my millions, I'd give sandecock another year initially to smooth the transition. I'd love to keep Paea, but unless an announcement is very close, I doubt we'll be able to. Even with one, he'll have plenty of options on both sides of the world on current form. With the exodus to Oz, a steady and experienced player like Horne is worth keeping (or getting).
David Hodgson has an option, iirc - given the uncertainty he might choose to exercise it. I think a few of us felt 3 years was maybe over long for him when he first signed, but with his form and so many players leaving SL there could well be competition for his signature.

I can only update it when I read that they have signed extensions. I can't find any mention of them signing 3yr deals.

I've spoke to both today and trust me pal last year when they signed, they both signed 3 year deals. All you are doing is giving the lazy HDM s a story that is factually incorrect !!!

Micky Paea says in the HDM today "I am a big believer that if you are playing well, somebody will be looking and watching and that will look after itself".

The Mail also says that Salford have asked Rovers about Dobson and Paterson only to be told that they are not available at present.
