This is as tough as it gets after a deby match. Warrington are in good form and their high-risk plays have started to come off now so its looking ominous to say the least.
Do Rovers have a chance? Can we pull off a shock victory?'"
-nope and nope ,still im looking forward to a good game!

| Being Rovers, I expect a shock result at some point. May as well be on Sunday.

| Tbf we were unlucky at their place and of the two teams ours has progressed much more than theirs since then with the return of key personnel.

| Let's get real here. We just played out a brutal derby, while they rested players and beat Widnes St Judes under-11 girls at a canter. They are also man for man, the 2nd best side in the comp and if they turn up we will lose. Factor in 48 missed tackles and the picture starts to develop.
The only + I can see is that we are averaging 42 points per game at home this season, so with that in mind I will go for Rovers 30-42 Wire. Entertaining, but ultimately pointless.

| Don't underestimate the lift that Saturday will have given the team.
I don't buy into one game being more tiring than another. You're still having to tackle and take tackled with almost the same intensity.

| Also Hull KR did less tackling on Saturday in the 2nd half which wouldn't have taken as much out of them as it did Hull

| Warrington have the ability to skill frep us and anyone else for matter. Their performance will be as important as our own. But as Stanley points out, our points scored per game record at home is actually the highest in the competition, so you never know.

Wigan v Sts
26-0 after 25 mins
I take your point though because Warrington can be just as lethal.
We won't be able to defend against Wire I don't think there's any doubt about that. But if we can play smart, good kicking game, repeat sets, win the penalty count and click on attack maybe we can get a 40-36 or similar.

| Wire are coming off the back of an easy win against Widnes, we've had a bruising derby battle.
Cant see past a Wire win.
Hopefully il be wrong and my favourite player Sam Latus will score 4.

| Don't think it will be as easy as some are making out. We should be fresher due to the ease of our match last week but its not easy going down to Hull with the hostile atmosphere. Would like to think we can get the win but you are capable of causing an upset.

| Rovers have flattered only to deceive too many times this season, so I am expecting it to happen again this weekend. The potential is there but you never know whether Jeckyl or Hyde will turn up!
Hopefully, fingers crossed, the confidence gained from the weekend and the back-to-back wins will instill more self-belief - a characteristic I think has been missing at times this season. IMO part of the reason for this stems from giving the opposition far too much respect - and I include Sandercock (his obsession with the oppositions 'internationals') - which tends to act against as opposed to inspire. Of course, give the opposition a modical of respect, but thats all. Don't linger on it to the extent you are beat before a ball is kicked. Once out on the pitch respect has to be earned.
Depending on which Rovers team turns up, they are in with a shout or a hiding to nothing! No prediction from me this week lol!

I think your analysis is way off the mark.
Rovers have only lost one Super League game at home all season and are averaging 42 points per game. The one defeat was probably one we were not expecting against Bradford. We've rarely looked solid in defence but with scores of 36,36,24,40,44 and 70 in our 6 home games so far you might say we've not needed to be.
There's nothing Jeckyl & Hyde about that, in fact our home form has been very consistent. Doesn't mean we'll beat Warrington but no reason not to expect us to be competitive.
Away well that's another story we've lost 6 times, 5 of those to teams in the top 7. So even there you could say nothing too unpredictable.
As for the internationals comment - if you seriously think Sandercock saying the blindingly obvious to a journalist makes a jot of difference well I'd be surprised. Mancini telling the world that Man City had 'no chance' didn't seem affect his players confidence too much as I recall.
