Apparently Dave Halley has signed for you guys on a 2 year deal from 2012. He is just using Keighley as a stepping stone to get some match practice after his injury.

He isn't any better than what we have already, just a different style of player. I suppose if we got rid of Colbon and played a style of rugby that didn't need wingers do most the drives early on in games then signing Halley might make sense. |

I reckon Briscoe will be offered a deal to stay and im hearing that David Hodgson is not opposed to relocating back to his home town so unsure on the Halley link to be honest.

Hope Briscoe stays - Widnes must be interested, I'd have thought, with Webb and Greenshileds having confirmed they are staying put. Hodgson for Colbon, Halley for Cockayne? Would put Sheriff a bit too far away from the first team to be good for his development though. |
