Didnt get much quality ball to be fair to him.

I thought he saw quite a lot of the ball but IMO is clearly playing on the wrong side as his instrict seems always to step off his left foot thus taking him away from his winger.

He carried the ball strongly whenever he got it and other than jamming in poorly when Ablett scored, i didn't think he did too bad in all honesty.

took a bang on the nose early doors and looked out of it from then really.

First game back I expected a bit of rustiness but I think he could have gone alot better if the team had got quicker and better ball out to him. I think he may struggle to hold onto his spot for next week.

Was definately a high shot but unintentional. (of course)

He seems to have lost confidence, he is a big, strong lad but seems to slow down when approaching a tackler, lets hope he gets back into gear soon, we could need his power. Thought Welham played well, he should have scored with his breakaway though, maybe the pitch was a bit heavy for a light player, but he certainly has the pace to score from that range.

Welham was outstanding for me up to the last quarter when he started dropping off tackles and his attempt on Ryan Bailey in the lead up to their final try was terrible.

There is no doubting though that he has tons of potential, lets hope he keeps his head straight and listens to the right people. If he does he could turn out to be top class.

i think oppositions have sussed him out, they did after the first game last season. hes big and strong but cant do much as defenders are on him as soon as the ball hits his hands, he did look rusty last night too

and yes his try looked fine too me.

i was suprised he got caught from there too

Yeaman ain't fast enough for a winger, take that to mean what you want...... All I was stating is that Webster has been a winger all his career and you can tell that is the case, in the same mould as Matt King on that score. Reckon he will continually get caught out defensively as well but that is for the future
