Two wins for FC and one for us would leave FC above us I suspect on point difference unless we can give them a really good hammering in the derby.

He must be very confident that we'll only win one more game. Reckon its because we're in a poor run of form.

Would any other coach ever come out in the press and predict that even if its what he thought. What does he say if we win the next two?

I don't think he is just looking at us when he says that, as Catalans and Warrington are by no means safe...

I would say the most likely to drop out of the 8 is still us because of our points difference and poor away form, but win against Hull and one of the away games and we would likely be safe in the 8.

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result:

Quote: barham red "Listening to radio prematch tonight and the toothless wonder stated that it was tough been out of the 8 after last night especially as it was in controversial circumstances what is he on about????'"

I heard that and wondered what he was on about he must have great bit of skill mixed up with controversial circumstances

It was probably one of the least controversial fixtures we've had this year.

Rovers points difference is -31 FC's points difference is -16, urgo just an 8 point win in the derby overturns the points difference, so a good win in the derby would leave FC likely needing to win all there 3 remaining games, That said Warrington have Wigan, Saints, Cas and Wakey left so they may only have 1 more win in them.
Catalans sit on 20 points but with 3 away games Salford, Widnes and leeds and a home tie against Huddersfield clearly they're not safe and their points difference of +14 could easily go well south yet. In summary Lee Radford could be right 2 wins may be enough, 1 might be, but the same can be said for all 4 teams.

To be fair after I had posted I thought I would check the PD to see what it looked like now and was surprised at how close ourselves, Hull, Warrington and Catalans were. A big win or loss for one of us can have a major impact on our season.

I agree, If one of us has a huge points win now its as good as a bonus win (if such a thing existed)

Come on. It's a cliche but the form book counts for nothing when it comes to a derby.

If Rugby League Rocks, then Hull KR is its Soul.:

In all honesty, I cannot see the dark side beating Wakefield this Sunday, 4 days after being comprehensively outplayed by the same opposition for 55 of the 80 minutes last night. Unless of course, the commentary from RH was painting a false picture. The stats from the game, reflect the justified Wildcats victory and their margin of superiority in the second half.

The talk a fortnight ago from Radford was about taking positives from the league defeat to Leeds and what they were going to do to Leeds in the reverse cup fixture with their home support behind them and the performance on the night was worse than the first one.

I'll be surprised if lightning doesn't strike twice here. You have the re energised Wildcats with some half decent new players, now full of confidence and still playing for pride and to impress an RL coaching legend. They will be playing once again against a beat up and knackered Dull Fc, low on form, confidence, energy and creativity and playing for a coach who has hardly inspired anyone with his tactical nous to date and who has been born with an unfortunate charisma bypass.
