| Green's shoulder contained all the resentment towards Burns that had been building from all the players that played alongside Burns over the previous year! ......Not only that, he put him off his game early doors and made Burns never forget his return to Craven Park! ........James Green is a legend that is going from strength to strength!

| When a bully like Burns picks on the youngest squad members and deliberately knocks them backwards to think they cannot make it in Super League then when that youngest squad member comes face to face on opposite teams then surely Karma will come! Green needs to be signed up long term before Saints come running in for him, were will Burns be then? In Australia on the beech counting his dollars! With a big fat belly!

| I think one of the reasons Chris Whelham has improved this season is due to the absence of Burns. I witnessed Burns bully the kid for nearly 80 minutes at Widnes away last season. The team is better off without him.
How did Saints get on? Not heard from any of their fans since Thursday.

| Quote: Mild Rover "Aye, but as when our chairman said something very similar, it's in reaction to something that affects his own club, and he very much makes it about the players involved and focuses on the relative injustices Saints have endured.
There is an issue, but it tends to get shrugged off when it goes in a club's favour with a shrug and 'about time one went our way'. So nowt much changes.
It was a bad challenge and even using an EGP, Green was fortunate to get just one game. Nobody wants to see players injured and I'm really sorry for Burns. I don't think players go out to injure other players, but I'm certain they do go out to hurt them - and that is a pretty fine line.
Wandering slightly off topic, depending on exactly what he meant, McManus should perhaps check the definition of 'definition'. Plus, he openly, if only implicitly, advocated inconsistent treatment of different clubs during the Bradford omnishambles. Basically his opinion doesn't carry that much weight for me/us and while I can definitely see where he's coming from, his perspective isn't ours and he hasn't tried very hard to broaden his message.'"
The initial contact was on the shoulder of Travis Burns
Hence the reason he was charged with
Rule – 15.1(k) Detail – Shoulder Charge – Indirect or secondary contact with head of an attacking player Grade - B

| "I think one of the reasons Chris Whelham has improved this season is due to the absence of Burns"
Personally, I think the reason why Welham has improved this year is because of the competition he now has for the centre spot and because of the influence of Darrell Goulding ......Welham is now actually looking like a proper centre whose job it is to put his wingman away ......And on top of this, he has suddenly found a hand-off that resembles the jousting skills of a medieval knight!
Like most, I thought Welham was done, but his improvement and learning of the game (as in the role of a centre) makes me hope that Rovers extends his contract further ......Well done Krissy Welham!

| So, after the McManus outburst about poor, poor Travis, he looks like missing a grand total of 2 games with this "career threatening" injury sustained at the hands of the evil brute James GreenHowever, there may be good news on the horizon ahead of Sunday’s trip to Huddersfield with key men Jon Wilkin, Travis Burns and Luke Walsh all possible returnees. He's only missed one week of rugby, Saints fans saying green should be banned for as long as burns is out, everyone's happy surely.
