| Chester has been part of the problem that has seen two coaches sacked, wake up. Do you really trust the same people who hired these guys to now carry out a full investigation to all off field matters to ascertain what is going wrong? If these people are so efficient at identifying what is wrong then why couldn't they step in over the past two years and nip it in the bud.
I worry for our club.

| Quote: Beverley Robin "Mark Aston? How low are our ambitions? Got to aim higher than that. However, I'm struggling to come up with any inspiring names that would realistically be interested / available for us. I fear it could be Aston, kear, noble, Chester, etc. Are they really potential head coaches that would get people through the turnstiles and reignite some sort of positive vibe around the place? Just hope hudge has a grand plan and an ace up his sleeve. Let's hope he's already sounded out potential replacements.'"
Our ambitions are mid table and always will be. That's the kind of coach we will attract.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm?
I'm sorry it didn't quite work out, for the obvious selfish reason. Also because I'd like to see an understated technical guy do well, rather than a tea-cup throwing passionate type. But even for me his downbeat realism got a bit wearing, and I did wonder if his constant managing of expectations eventually became self-fulfilling.
Too many signings that didn't work out - and too few wins basically. Not that bad, but not that good either.
If Chester can combine the best of what he's learned from Morgan and Sandercock, that'd be good. Purtell would look the most likely to manage the transition to a top job of the assistants elsewhere. Or another Aussie; gouing against the current fashion has advantages.

| Could paul rowley, the leigh coach be worth a shot,we seem to be nominating coaches past their sell by date noble, kear etc,and clowns like mcbanana.Castleford took a chance with powell whose CV was similar to rowleys, successful at a lower level,as I posted earlier james webster would have been my 1st choice but the chance has gone.

Not for me!
Paul Deacon must be worth a quiet shout. Been coaching in the best set up in the league with a winning mentality, was also a very clever player.

| I think Sandercock was unlucky mainly because of the injuries we have had. Take 12 players out ok not all at once but over the season so far I don't think any coach could have expected better results. It seems his man management has been the straw that broke the camels back. If he has "lost the dressing room " as it is termed then the right decision has been made . Who comes in i do not know quite a few names been bandied about, I would not have McNamara he is just a bull artist talks a good game but never produced. Noble no, Cooke never, Webster another assistant no, I would go for Karl Harrison if he would be willing, Another Ozzie few to choose from available now, Peter Sharp good coach according to those in the know, on by FC would love another shot in. Superleague especially to prove to the black n whites they were wrong. I would like to see John Keir given a go he shows passion another one who was on by Hull FC vast experience and loads of experience. But what ever we think the only ones that count are Phil Lowe and Neil Hudgell

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Not a bad nomination that, he's also been involved with the national team.

I think our a ambitions are much higher, whether we can achieve them remains to be seen.

The only capacity he should be allowed near the club in, is if he wants to quote for the South Stand when we develop. He was that bad last time he was in SL, they replaced with with McRae.

47035_1386433761.gif We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_47035.gif |

| Powell has shown you can coach at the lower levels and step up to better a team.
I'm sure there are others from the league below that could do a job. But at the moment no one really jumps out as an obvious choice.
