| Lets not kid ourselves for those who still want Sandercock to prove himself. This performance reaked of his inefficiencies.
Yes, he had a game plan and it worked well until half time, but Wane saw what was going on and sorted it. But knowing he would, where was our plan b?? There wasn't one.
Once again, quote's in the paper about 'getting it right' and we are 'not far off' is wearing very, very thin on me, to the point that I'm switching off the radio/tv as I just get so bloody annoyed with him. This last performance was better, but still no-where near what we expect as paying fans.
Us fans (or certainly me) like to hear honest, to the point interviews, not the rhetoric guff that he spouts. I understand the reasons why he protects his views about his own players, but giving nothing away is a bug bare of mine that helps neither him, or the fans.
Absolutely fed up, I wanted more this season other than victories against the whipping boys in this league (and that's not a given), yes the next two games are important but for me the damage has already been done. Sandercock has to go.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

Let's see if I get an answer this time......who do you think we should get to replace him?

| I wont shy away from that. It's a punt that could come off, but James Webster has been an assistant now for 6 years. He knows the club, knows Chris Chester. He also didn't do too bad if I remember after Harvey Howard left and was put in temporary charge. Others potentially could be John Kear, who I really rate that could do a decent job.

| I would replace him with a certain up and coming coach who hasn't done to bad a job at Doncaster.

Totally agree GR, let's at least wait until after our next two games before we throw out the baby with the bath water!

World wide, there is only 30 top league coaching jobs available,16 NRL, 14(soon to be 12)SL. At any one time, only a small handful maybe looking at a new coach so any vacancy will result in a tonne of applicants.
Theres not much point targeting one man because i'm sure if the vacancy was posted they'd be a lot of people applying.Surely though a coach with a decent first team record is a must,or,with the likes of Radford, someone who's already well known to the club.
I'd like to see Mark Aston in Superleague. He's done good stuff at Sheffield for years and he was a vastly experienced top level player.

| The usual know it all's are out in force yet again. Grow up & get real, Rovers are a mid table team with a mid table budget mid table crowd & a mid table ground & guess what we are around mid table. We have just played four of the teams that we all expected to contest the top five spots in the league & we have lost to them as most pundits thought we would. We have played well in short bursts & there is room for a vast improvement but thats what we get when you change half the side. As for those who say we deserve better on what do you base that asumption on? We as suporters deserve nothing there are not enough of us to make the club viable without large inputs of cash from TV & sponsors. We get what we pay for 13 home games a year plus a few cup ties if lucky. You either suport Rovers or you dont thats our choice nothing more nothing less, just stop whinging like a pub full of Aussies If you are not happy go & watch darts or somthing else. I follow the club because thats what I do, I follow League because I love it. Just leave the running of the club to the people who own & pay for it. & just give the players your suport instead of decrying every effort they make.

| So as supporters, who support the running of the club year after year,we're not entitled to any views? Should we just turn up and cheer when it's obvious things aren't right?

Nice to know your aspirations are of mediocrity. I'd like more than that. I support the club that wants to better itself not 'know its place' and accept it. But crack on if that's what you want.

| I've slept on last nights performance and see the usual polarised replies on here. Lets get one thing straight, my opinion of the coach's limitations are not based on a couple of games. We all know we faced a tough start, and points would be hard to come by. However, its the performances that tell far more than the current league table.
Defensively, we continue to be a soft touch, despite a clear recruitment strategy to solve this. We once again ship the regulation 30+ points. As a previous poster mentioned, our own try scoring was due to a weakness in Wigan's right edge. They fixed it at half time and we went scoreless due to a lack of game management, incapable of adjusting to another plan.
Every time Wigan got inside our 20 they scored. This is the story of Sandercock's reign.
I get the mid-table stuff, I have realistic aspirations for my club. I guarantee that Mr Hudgell has loftier ambitions than that.

You are dead right if I had my way I would sack him now, but what I can not understand is why we are only playing for 40 mins it just does not make sense are we not fit enough, if not why not and its time something was done about it so get rid now before its to late remember 2 teams go down not 1, we do not want to be 1 of them

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |
|
| I expected 1 win in the first five 2 with a bit of luck but it's the manner of the defeats getting hammered at home by lets face it an average cas side and then just folding in the second half against saints Leeds and Wigan that tels me there's something wrong with our fitness sandercock is running out of time and the way were playing the Bradford and wakey games aren't the dead cert wins people think
