Were we having a discussion? I thought you were writing your list for Santa. What you want, and what you can afford, aren't always the same mate. You look as if you will lose a couple of salaries you can't afford, and in return get one very good super league standard player, and another with a stack of potential, that has had a knock to his confidence, but with a run of games, and some TLC, could be a decent winger. If you fancy climbing down off your high horse and having a discussion feel free, I'm usually found around these parts. xxx

More than just a few though,General Zod (no reason to doubt him) reckons RL has missed the 2nd most tackles in SL and with most KR fans demanding a better defensive plan obviously the coaching staff see his departure can only help this.

| No high horse here....It's a forum and this is a discussion thread about Poore and Cockayne going to Hull KR with Rumour on a player exchange with Lovegrove and Caro who KR appear happy to offload? I'm not into abuse exchange on discussion forums thanks I'd rather talk rugby.
No lists for Santa here either but a RL Club that is competitive next season though would be good but unlikely if we take your cast offs and give you our key players in return.
Caro can develop into a decent winger? You do it then and while you're at it take Peter Fox back and teach him to catch the ball and tackle at the same time as Caro.

Fair enough squire, you say its a discussion, but you've obviously already made up your mind about the players concerned, despite the fact, you've probably seen considerably less of them than us, let's see what happens eh? Just remember, santa brings naughty boys a sack of horse, exciting innit?

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |
|
| The thing is your skint and rather than just take your players for a fraction of there worth we're giving you a great player in lovegrove who I wouldn't let go personally and Caro for poore who you say is a state of origin player but then so was O'Hara who we had for two seasons and played ten games and cockayne who is average at best

Still seems pretty hypothetical to me right now. We'll see, I guess.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

If Fox and Caro were taught to tackle at the same time, surely one of them would be well out of position?

I think most fans would rather he stayed at Rovers. I've heard that he is going to fight for his place and hope to make his way into the team. Hope that's true and that his efforts are recognised by the coaching staff.

I would like to hope that all the players fight for their places in which case Rhys will be no different to anyone else so his efforts won't need recognising as everyone will be in the same boat.

| I would definitely keep Rhys and if the only reason for him being offloaded is his inability to tackle, surely coach as good as Craig is should be able to get round that and improve his defence. Somebody who gives 100% every time is worth his weight in gold.

If I was playing for Hull KR I would give 100% every time. Any amateur or lower division player would give 100% if they were offered a shot at playing SL but doesn't mean they are going to be good.
However, one thing which can't be coached and should play a small part in a players retention is loyalty and Rhys has that in abundance.
Personally if CS decided that RL wasn't in his plans then I would side with the coach as sentiment will get you in the mess we found ourselves in from the late 80s onwards.

| Now ET has gone officially, you might be able to bring in Poore.
Love the quote from his agent claiming he came over too young, he was 29 FFS.
