Must be something in this surely. The rovers board must have done some due diligence before even giving larvin the time of day and to then seemingly get chummy with him gives the impression hudgel and crossland belived it was a possibility at the very least.
Is this all linked to pete may selling up? He was the highest share holder wasn't he? WHo owns the shares now? (Mrs. B can you do a search)
The deadline is irrelevant and if someone pops up next week, next month or next year with money to invest then they'll do the deal. I still think this is related to property investment somehow
