| Quote: dum-dum "Under 5s are free but have to queue up on matchday at the ticket office and prove age to collect a ticket. Alternatively, you can prove age once and buy a pass for the year at £2.50 with their name on it, nothing wrong with that at all.'"
So its free if you prove your age each week or £2.50 if you prove it once?
Isn't that just a waste of the ticket offices staff time?

| Would be interesting to know how many half season passes were sold. If they have the option to upgrade to the renewed FULL season pass then it makes sense for them to pay that then pay half of the full price.

| Carpark charges are a disgrace. £45 for 13 games and have to queue 50 mins to get out is scandalous.

So buy the pass for £2.50, easy.

surely the club would be better charging per game offering a free pass though?
it doesn't make sense to charge for a pass but allow free entry on a game by game basis

I see your point.
Most people, like myself, will have gone to the club shop to get their passes in mid October, they'll have been informed that the little one is free, but if they want their own season pass to stop the hassle of queuing every game, it will cost £2.50, they would just buy it there and then and be done with it.
If there is a single person out there that refuses to pay the £2.50 and instead, queues up routinely every home game, I'm glad I don't know them.

Itotally agree with you just suprised that the club arent pushing free passes and £2.50 tickets to encourage people to get their passes and save the hassle with individual tickets each game

Surely the £2.50 is some basic contribution to the cost of the pass itself. I have never seen the said pass, but £2.50 would be a reasonable price.
They are not charging for the games, just the actual ID. A bit like the government who charge for Passports to allow you to come and go as you please, rather than bringing several ID's down to passport control along with your doctor to confirm your ID every time you travel.

| With the situation your in the board had no choice but to raise there season passes. Hull is a rugby mad city and I reckon fans will still buy them. Although I'm a FC fan I hope you get a bit of financial stability, it's good for the game and good for the city. I don't think the prices are fair to be totally honest. More expensive to sit in the west stand at rovers then at the KC. Also an extra 25p per game difference to sit in the east stand at KC compared to rovers. I know you need more income but how can your club justify it's more expensive in areas and £3 cheaper per season the the East stand for the facilities and hospitality MS3 craven park provides. Like I said earlier I hope you guys do well. I know the prices haven't gone down well with the lads at work. They aren't gettin passes and are just going to grab a ticket against the top 6 clubs.

What's wrong with that? It's supply and demand. You have more seats than fans, we have more fans that seats. Simples.

The new North Stand is crucial IMO. For the past few years (as has been well documented), Rovers have run at a loss & is now beginning to cut it's cloth accordingly, the most noticiable cut being the squad.
The new North Stand atleast gives us the capacity to generate more corporate revenue, maybe not straight away, but at some point the economy will pick up. It'll also provide 2,600 more seats than we have now, hopefully leading to more away fans as well as home fans attending due to the better facilities (families etc). Then there are the smaller revenue streams for the new stand that either aren't there now or will improve, such as food & drink sales, advertising space, events etc.
As much as I've criticised our squad for next year, next year (and maybe the year after too) is about consolidating for Rovers. Reduce or stop the yearly loss, perhaps seek investment, bring through the youngsters whilst trying to be competitive in SL, get the new stand up & running - they'll roughly be some of the aims at board level I'd guess.

We shall see when the season ticket figures get announced. I know a few lads who go in the west stand that aren't renewing.

| It's twenty five pence more expensive per game to go in the East Stand at Craven Park than to go in the Neil Hudgell Solicitors Stand at the KC?
This is an absolute outrage.
I urge everyone to never attend a game ever again.

I just think its an embarrassment to charge so much to watch a team who finish where they did and the fact the stadium is a shed!
