 She chooses her ground to suit the battle. Worrying first about our young players being denied a chance, now fretting about Fisher and Mills, the poor dears, for example. Does a very good line in mock innocence though.
On Rufus, it isn't even a new low for the derby rivalry - it is revisiting an old one. Why can't we all just get along? I blame Hull FC - their fans, their players (except Mike Burnett) and their kicking tee.

I'm a woman, for goodness sake, that's our stock-in-trade. 
I'm really not worried about Mills and Fisher, I'm delighted for them. Another year's salary and their only expenses are the travel rug for their knees and the Thermos of Bovril to share in the RM stand. 
Anyway, back to the birds. I can't believe people have forgotten the exclusion of Airlie in 2007 so quickly. |

Okay, so now it is an SMC issue and not the doings of dastardly James Rule (glad I joined this thread late), the issue is a bipartisan one of whether the action is justified in response to the 'very provocative gestures'. Wiggling of a covered bottom would not be, IMO. Shaking your hand to mimic you-know-what (ooh, I've come over all Victorian) would be out of order - from a mascot.
Hull fans should be free to sing about Justin Morgan's mum, without fear of having a 7 foot tall cartoon robin waving his foam wing at them!
