2009 - 4th lose our first 2 playoff games

1998 - 9th out of 12
1999 - 13th out of 14
2000 - 7th after merger with a far better side
2001 - 3rd, 4 years to make the playoffs then lose first 2 playoff games (no better than rovers then)
2002 - 5th, lose playoff again
2003 - 7th
2004 - 3rd, lose playoff again
2005 - 5th, win first ever playoff game after 5th attempt then lose 71 - 0 to bradford
2006 - 2nd, get to final but lose again so still no S/L trophy to shout about.
2007 - 4th, win one lose one
2008 - 11th
2009 - 12th
= decline

So it took hull 4 yrs to reach the playoffs and 8 yrs to win first playoff game, come back in 5 years and see how we are doing



really impressive 12yrs in super league...............NOT



Oh, and i nearly forgot, we are 7-3 up in derbies and by the next good friday derby we will have had the bragging rights for 958 of the 1089 days since we joined S/L.

PS - your calculation of how many days bragging rights you may have had puts Mrs B to shame. Can we start giving you the same level of abuse as she gets on your board?

I cant claim the plaudits for that i'm afraid, it was in the rovers program, so mrs ba.......rista still top facts and figures bore

No silly billy, won the same this year as you did in 2006, don't forget you keep telling us that trophies are all that counts in S/L and it took you 8yrs to do that, still plenty of time for us to equal or better your magnificent achievements don't you agree.

Agree, however some very established teams also have yet to gain any silverware..got to be in it to win it though, all to play for next year for all teams.

FC are the only promoted side ever to win anything in the superleague era.
