Yeah sure.
Uncle Ken going to offer the bribe every season then is he.
If so then as your paying peanuts to watch Home fixtures then you really have no excuse not to travel away.
Rovers and Hull FC are the best supported away teams bar none.
Nothing will change that.

Absolute rubbish, Rovers crowds in Nat 1 were at their lowest during the mid to late ninetees when the club found itself been run in to the ground by a very poor board of directors, who in most peoples opinions were the cause of Hull KRs demise during that period which subsequently resulted in the club going into administration, but even then Rovers took a decent away following.
The crowds started to come back in numbers around 2004 when the club was taken over by a new and dynamic board of directors headed by the present chairman and fanatical KR fan Neil Hudgell and i see no reason why the support will not carry on getting bigger as time goes on, The situation now is a very similar one to the late seventies and early eighties
During the late seventies and eighties rovers always took a huge following to away games, i know because i was there and the record books during that period speak for themselves.
During those same years, i remember Huddersfields away support was almost non existent and considering the amount of time you have spent in super league i would have expected it to be a lot bigger than it currently is today.
As for your comment about the crowds dropping off when we start losing, well'' how do you explain last year and even the year before?, we lost more games than we won but the crowds continued to increase.
It will be interesting to see how many Huddersfield fans will visit Craven park 13th April, hopefuly you will come in numbers and be extremely vocal though i wont hold my breath.

| I noticed that. I found some of the comments most unbarnaclelike.

our home support was non existant then, in fact the club was almost non existant, if you knew anything about RL history you'd know that though hmmm
as for our away support yes its poor we know that and we are striving to improve it, dont forget we have 10 clubs within a 20 mile radius all fighting for the shame supporters compared to you who have 1 within 50 miles

| The only season the mighty Huddersfield could claim to have bigger support than Rovers was in 2002. This was for 2 reasons:
1. We were utterly garbage, and thus struggled to attract 1,800 to home games.
2. Huddersfield came down from SL, retained a FT squad and went unbeaten. It's easy following a team that is virtually guaranteed a win every week, as we know from our 2006 season.
Credit to them back then, they even outnumbered us at the Buddies final. However, this is 1 season, 7 years ago. Now back on a level playing field (apart from the subsidies handed out by KD) the 2 clubs support could not be further apart when it comes to travelling.
I scanned the RLE this week, looking for an article by the Bradford chairman, but he appears not to have praised the hordes from Huddersfield.
Perhaps they don't eat enough pies?

Catchment area is nowt to do with travelling support, that has more bearing on the overall level of support.
In fact, the statement you make about all the short jorneys you can make to support your club away from home just shows how much of a joke your lot are away from home. Derbies apart, its an hour to the nearest game away for us. You can reach just about the whole of SL in that time (Cats, Quins & CC apart).
Roll on Easter Monday, I will remember to bring my abacus.
