Not like Pearson who charges extra for a KR visit to make an extra few bob. In the past has even put a surcharge of £1 on ticket prices as an enforced contribution to the FC charity, then had the brass cheek to brag how much the club had paid to support the charity.
Despite all this we attend and pay to support our club, not be objectionable and not turn up because of our poor facilities. The main thing is to support your club not to use issues like that to be objectionable. Still with your attitude you will probably not be able to comprehend that sort of view.

| It is an FC generalism that CP is a dump.Majority that spout it ain't even been. Like I said,id like to hear a fan who went in North stand how they enjoyed their CP Derby experience apart from last 6 seconds?

| Thank you Bonaire, thank you for your excellent clarification as to why FC fans don't stay and clap their players off at the end of a match. I now know that this is because the stadium is built in the middle of a housing estate and the cost is the same as elsewhere in the ground. And I had always thought that they deserted their team when they were losing. Silly me. However, I am still puzzled. After KR beat FC in the final match of the season a few years ago a video emerged of the FC players doing a lap of honour to three sides of a deserted KC stadium. Which muddy hill were they objecting to?

You think its better to play at hull citys ground, and create an atmosphere the equivalent of chants av cemetery? Anyway good luck to you in continuing your successive superleague defeats,I dont know what the record is,but your certainly giving it a good go.

It always amazes me that so many FC fans allow their hatred of Rovers and our ground to stop them supporting their team.
Just cannot understand such a twisted mentality.

it's quite simple, many FC fans have higher standards than to travel East of the river, and certainly not to caravan park.

So by your own admission, your support for your team depends on the standard of the opposing teams ground.
I guess that explains why Hull FC have so many armchair supporters.
Real supporters like me, plus thousands of other Rovers supporters have travelled the lengh and breadth of the country in all weather, including heavy snow during winter rugby. Some of the grounds we've travelled to in the past wouldn't even be classed suitable for sheep never mind players and fans. No cover, no real toilets, no bars and in some cases little grass on the playing surface are just some of the things we have had to put up with, I include the old Boulevard to some extent in that summing up of old grounds.
Basically, as a supporter, the team comes first and the playing venue second.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

You obviously arent very old or you would remember the threepenny stand where supporters used to stand and pee where they were stood ,so if you walked behind the stand you got soaked.Mind you maybe thats high standards in west hull.

I think the Boulevard must have been the first ground to have water features installed at the back of one of the main stands.
