| I keep to-ing and fro-ing on this but I'm not sure McNamara would be a solution.
What about Kear? Track record of getting the most out of limited resources?

| Re Sandy I agree about the baffling team decisions made at times, Beharrell should have been used v Cas rather than against Wigan. Sandy got away with it due to us beating Cas but to play the young kid v a red hot Wigan team was bordering on criminal imo.
Resting Eden V Cas was another strange one.
Withers straight back in in place of Keal is another non sensible change, surely players on form are better than players getting upto form ?
All in all I believe the decision to not give him another year or 2 has been made, at season start I was a Sandy fan, now im not due to the silly media comments like "automatic selections" No player should be an automatic selection in my eyes ! Even if some like Dobson ARE, Sandy shouldn't go in the media and mention it !!

| I think Sandy is doing ok. Agree with some of those above. Salter, Hall, Paea, Hodgson, Walker, Beaumont all improved under Sandercock, above all for me George Griffin who I reckon is a future England player. How much of this is natural maturing and development is difficult to assess, I say give him credit.
Can't see why anyone wants to see Eden in the team currently, the guy needs a break as his confidence is shot and he has major concentration issues. Him and Caro were responsible for 5 of the Wigan tries last week. I would like to see Hall have an extended run at fullback, kicking aside he has made very few errors this season. I think FB would be his best position, don't agree with those who say he is an off half.
Withers was excellent last season and looked better against Wakefield yesterday. I think it's a good decision to get him back on the field ahead of Carlisle. We need as many experienced heads on the field as possible currently when you look at how many youngsters are out there. Carlisle will get his chance again and at this stage comparing the two, Withers is clearly the better player.
'We' were calling for youngsters to be given a chance and when they make mistakes and we lose then get on the coach's back...the guy can't win (literallyicon_smile.gif) Our defensive frailties can again be attributed to the inexperience of the squad...it shouldn't need saying really but they are learning.
He's bringing on youngsters on a reduced cap in his first senior role and is doing ok...give him a break.
In summary...McNamara = No.

| You might bring back Nick Halafihi (sp) as a cheap option for a year?

| Give him one more year. I think given the situation he has been put under he has done as well as expected. I don't think mcNamara would have done any better.

| Macnamara must be one of the worst coaches in any sport, holds the record for successive defeats at bradford, and ends up with the sack and a better job with england.Bradford had never been out of the top 8 till he arrived and managed to be out of the 8 for 3 seasons running, sandy is worth another year imo.!
