its a myth. nobody makes anything out of rugby league in this country , rich supporters fund most clubs that don't break even ,no sky = a lot of part time players, pearson or hudge will never get their monies invested back

Owners buy rugby/football clubs for the status of owning one and definitely not to make money Pearson has tried to buy his way into numerous football clubs without success he hasn't got that sort of money yet you can buy a RL club for a fraction of the cost and you still get the chance to walk out at Wembley etc
