I enjoyed visiting Craven Park a hundred times more than the KC.
Hull KR supporters generally seem to be a much more genuine lot than the West side of the city and unlike the KC there was never any threat of anything 'kicking off'
I'm sure these comments will annoy genuine Hull FC supporters, but unfortunately your neighbours show how supporting your team is done correctly.:32067.jpg |

Sharp made his decision no doubt based on his opinion of the relative of merits Motu Tony and Briscoe as well as the constraints of the salary cap.
I am more than happy that we have signed Briscoe.
Although there are positives to have players with the utility tag attached , sometimes having a player in a dedicated postion is the answer.

There was some stats shown on sky towards the end of last season with most yards/carries made by full backs returning the ball. Brisco was about 9th out of 12 and i think motu was high on the list 3rd maybe.
So they both have differen qualities and its unfair to compaire them as they are different style full backs. There is no doubt briscoe is a quality player tho and i dont think anyone is questioning that!

Some of your fans thought bellend was better than briscoe before you signed him'" But Tony skills have little bearing when thinking about his on field position(FB) as having a FB who is not great when dealing with a high ball or a bouncing ball is a strange idea that was why I brought up Charlie as he is the first to admit that he isnt the safest but is good at ball return and is useful as a pivot as has been proved in the first two games with him playing hooker as was shown with the first try against Leeds!
So i'll ask again how many FC fans think that Ben Cockayne is a better FB than Shaun Briscoe? |
