Ian Millward has got short man syndrome and he gets right up my snotter.
Dixon starts at fullback, so you've got your way at last.
Happy that Goulding keeps his place. He reads the game very well.

| The result proves that Ian Milward has still not earned the right to be taken seriously any more. Plonker.

| The guy was a crap coach who knows sweet f-a about teams he knows nothing about. Anyone can be a pundit, but he isn't taken seriously, and he hasn't for a good while.

Traits which seem to have rubbed off on the fans of his former team.

Enjoyed belting it out too. Shame we never went over with 10 to go and it could have seen the airlie stampede.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| What's wrong at Hull?
I don't pay much attention to them as my inert laziness barely allows me to pay attention to my own team.
They've got some decent players that look seriously disinterested, Paea looks half the player he was three years ago.
It's got to be more than Radford, although listening to his interview on the way home was enlightening. He started off by referring to himself in the third person (an absolute crime unless you're a boxer where it's mandatory) and then trotted out a series of strange statement's, which included blaming all of his senior players. Took no responsibility himself but said the effort was there. If the effort was there but the team doesn't perform then perhaps the coach isn't instructing them properly.
Looking likely to be better than Agar.

I listened to that, his tactics in his words were if they can spend enough time in the oppos half then they'll eventually score. Inspiring stuff. They look the antithesis of us, we look as much of a team as I've seen since early Morgan years. Very together with each other and the fans. Even clarkey commented on it. He said about our lap of honour against St's and realised that it wasn't cos we'd beat the champs as he thought at the time, it's cos it's what they do all the time. Close to the fans and enjoying it. He said it must be the best club to be in at this time. Nice words Mr Clarke. FC on the other hand look like they don't want to be there, effort is there but it looks like a chore, maybe the difference between a team that's winning to one that's losing but I think it's more than that.

| We appear to be turning into a defend and counter attack side rather than a you score one we will score two side, and by rights it shouldn't be as entertaining, but it is. The passion, togetherness and fan appreciation of this current squad is such a relief from the past few seasons and we easily mitigated an Fc side who were using the old up your jumper for three tackles, run sideways for the fourth and kick aimlessly on the fifth that we have previously been employing. It's very heartening and hope we can keep this spirit in the side through this season and beyond. Things are already being put in place for next season with the recruitment of JP which hopefully will lead to better player retention and enabling us to recruit players of a similar mentality, so it's onwards and upwards and let's see how we fair in the game with Hudds on Monday!

Rovers team spirit is the best since the 2007 squad who had to fight to stay up with essentially half a squad of National League players. That same spirit coupled with the talent is what creates the anticipation & excitement across fans & club alike.
As for the mess across the city. Long may it continue, couldn't happen to a nicer club. This is what happens when you collectively believe the "emperors new clothes" bull that Pearson uses to flog season passes. Expectation levels not aligned with the team's ability. The coach isn't the problem, he's doing a fine job.

| Totally agree with the last post. We have the 'Feel Good Factor" again.
Reading a lot of the comments from Hull fans, they still seem to think they played poorly, not that we played well.
I am working overseas and watched the game via satellite,it was a true derby atmosphere for the first half, then home fans were silenced and went home.
Now what can we expect from KR? I beleive we have possibly the inform halfbacks in the competition, our confidence is high and we have a good cup draw, can`t wait to get home..COYR

| I think it's fair comment that we didn't as a team play that well. A lot of errors blunted our attack. But surely even the FC fans must credit us for our dogged defence. We were under pressure for a large part of that game yet only conceded one try, caused by a small mistake.

I was sat in the West stand among the FC fans (great when we win) with my mate & at half time we agreed that FC had not been bad? but God knows what their coach said to them but when they came out they just did not seem to have any leadership & were wandering about looking lost. The only thing that supprised was that we did not put a load more points on them, maybe we did what we had to & saved a bit for monday. Any way a great night for us but it got a bit lonley when their fans started leaving early, at least I could enjoy the sight of the north stand enjoying the night.

your defence was superb. Also the intensity of it was what I noticed most. I would be happy if I was a rovers fan, but in truth, a victory against such a clueless set of morons probably doesn't mean too much.
