| Quote: Pickering Red "Stan. Are you still with Dixon at Fb for this game? How do feel about Horne in the centres?'"
Yes I'd go with Dixon. He made a few errors at Sts, but so did Cockayne. Both can lose a game for you, but only Keiron could win it for you.
Not a fan of Horne at centre, he gets done too easily by footwork. Much better in 2nd row. Stick with Salter for me.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Dixon
Mantellato
Welham
Salter
Sio
Chisholm
Kelly
Walker
Boudebza
Tilse
Blair
Horne
McCarthy
Bench; Puletua, Green, Lunt, Donaldson.
Blair back to what he does best, shutting down his side of the park. Dixon is too dangerous to be left out of what is likely to be a high scoring game.
Big punch required from Puletua and Green required after about twenty five minutes in.
Lunt to also then take the line on.
Chester has consistently saved our interchanges this year, we often go into games with six or seven left with twenty five minutes to go.
If we're in with a shout at that point, we'll win.

| Same.
I'm not an out and out fan of Horne, but he's been exceptional this year, just turns up every week and does his job.
We shouldn't be playing him in the centre, unless we need to shuffle. It's a bit like when we tried to play Chev Walker at centre, just hasn't got the footwork to stay with those in and out type players.

I'm not sure a cup semi is ideal to try a brand new half back pairing though. This is offset with the advantage of Blair in the back row where he has been excellent.'"
IMO your best chance is with blair in the back row and chisolm playing alongside kelly. You need to score some points and defend better. blair will sure up your defence out wide and chisolm offers more than blair in the halfs. Bit of a risk but your best shot at winning IMO. Play blair at s/o and it weakens your defence and attack

That's probably the 17 I'd go with.

No room for Larroyer in the team picked by you and Goose.
I bet Chezzie picks him though.

| Larroyer is totally out of form so I'd leave him out, however I agree that CC will find a spot for him.

| I think it all depends on whether he gambles on playing Chisholm alongside Kelly. Blair in the 2nd row will give him the luxury of dropping a back rower and on form alone, that has to be Larroyer

If you want to be American, that's fine.
The rest of us will just stick to speaking properly.

Same for me, Hornes worst games were when he was at centre and his defence goes to pot. Salter hasn't had a great couple of games but lets be honest he's not been on his own in that. Dixon at FB is a must, Wire aren't renowned for defence so we need a threat in the side and if we can get some middle field position then Dixon coming into the line will worry them.
Chisolm is the hard question to answer, he looked ok in patches at the weekend but also flagged very quickly and his decision making went to awry with it. He looked pretty rusty and aside from a long cut out pass offered little. Now he only had limitted time with the team pre-match but the question is will another week have made that much difference. I'm kind of thinking we have to risk him now, but i do wonder how much more he'll offer than Marsh would have.

Chisolm is the question really. He can play FB. If he plays where on earth do you play Dixon/Cockayne?
Dixon to FB, Chisolm seems the most realistic. Maybe he goes Ben on the wing with Sio in centre? (thats a massive waste in my opinion of Sio).
Chisolm showed glimpses of what he could do, Kelly back in there is a massive difference, they both like to run so could run riot given half a chance.
Its great to actually have options and leave them guessing to a degree.
