We're coming to make some noise!: |

Yes I'm mates with him but when my opinion of his game matches that of his coach I think I must be quite a good judge of the game!!!
The only people that matter when it comes to performances are the player and his coaching staff, after last nights game both of those were happy with the way he played so I tend to feel some of you watch a completely different game to most others!
Went in Crown after last nights game and a critic of Rhys's even mentioned that he played well last night barring his one knock on.
I guess everyone needs a scapegoat and this season Rhys is just going to have to accept that he is the one to cop it!

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| I thought he went OK. Punched a couple of holes in their defence, ran with purpose and made some decent tackles.
Can't see what he did so badly wrong to attract such criticism.

Would it taste the same/
If you drank eleven?
Take off your clothes/
And touch your toes
Cause I know we'll drink a beer

After listening to Morgans aftermatch comments in the HP bar i'm not sure his judgment is all that clever. In fact i'm pretty sure he was at a completely different game to me

| I thought Lovegrove was OK in defence and attack. Having said that I think Morgan should have had an out and out prop in the 17 instead of Rhys.

I was supprised when I saw we only had two props, even more supprised when I realised how big every Leeds player from 1 to 17 were I will agree Rhys is not a prop (maybe in ten years time) I was happy with most of what we did last night. I would be more dissapointed if I was a Rhino fan.

| i think he knocked on first ball and i did think "oh no" but after that he went well i thought against much bigger opposition too
he needs to find a position and get Morgan to give him a run there though.

Suposed to be the world & superleague champs & untouchable acording to numerous pundits & fans, they can play a lot better than they did on Friday(& will do) Rovers are a work in progress can do better us fans hope they will but it is all supposition till we actually do it.

Morgan worries me someone called radio humberside after the game and his comments were spot on in my opinion, he said " Morgan is trying to make all the players utility players", Lovegrove will never be a prop and the same goes for Netherton he has a winger playing hooker and in my opinion not even a good winger. Why give Mills a 2 year deal nd not play him,he may not have his old mans fire but given a run I think will do a job.
Morgan cost us the game on friday with his selections I know he didnt do the knock ons and missed tackles and all that bxxs but he puts the players out there. Paul Cooke had a shocker never took the ball forward once. If Dobson is now the link then Cookie should be a runner taking it off him and laying it off to the forwards and backs etc you may then get away with 2 second rowers as props but we need to be running on to the ball not stood still when Fozzard and Macka went off we had no go forward even Clint Newton wasnt running on to the ball all the time.
We need to alter our playing style to suit those on the field at the time, hpe Morgan is good enough to sort that out and we can start winning

| Rhys played well in my opinion. The only real error he made was the knock on.
BUT He's not a front rower and neither is Jase Netherton. It's totally baffling why Justin has played them there. Both Rhys and Jase are good players but playing them out of position isn't doing either of them (or the team) any favours, particularly Jase Nev who I'd like to see earn another contract.
