Yes gutted to read this we really needed him back sharpish as our few fit forwards are sharing a heavy workload. Hope Bailey is back this weekend and also hope rumors of him not settled are exactly just that.

Shame, good player and will be missed, he seemed pretty positive preseason as well.

On a club POV its better to know now whilst we can do something about it, will be a difficult hole to fill but we need to getting someone in pretty quickly.

He was a real warrior and its sad that his career should end like this.

He would have been hard to replace anyway but it may be even more difficult now with both the SL and NRL seasons in full swing.

We're knackered if / when our forwards get injuries. I'd expect a couple of mid season additions but who'll be available?

Knew this was coming (as did Rovers, so why the club kept feeding us B/S after the Wire game is beyond me, as the decision was already made!). Top bloke, has been a great player, but he's got to think about his next career now, and needs to protect his mobility to get his next chapter in his life sorted. A sad way to end, but this frees up a big % of salary cap which we need to actively use asap.

I expect Bailey to follow him out the door quickly, so front row has sudenly gone from "best covered" to "biggest area of concern".

Weyman had a history of chronic knee problems, it's the risk you take when you sign these players.

It was a calculated risk, and I'm not disappointed we took it. He was solid last year and gave us full value all season. From a cap perspective, he hasn't cost us a penny this season so his decision to go now helped the club immensely. The timing could have been better, but up to last week, he had every intension of seeing out his contract.

The same risk applies to Campese, and again, so far it's been more than worth taking.
