The phrase that summed it up for me is that they want to 'change the culture of the club both on and off the field and set a new agenda' (or words very similar to those).
The old culture served its purpose admirably, IMO, but if we're going to be a bit more hard-nosed, as a team and as a club, I'm all for that. It has to be done intelligently, as breaking eggs is no guarantee of making an omelette, but it does have to be done if we're to get stronger.
We'd all perhaps got a bit giddy with every season offering novelty and progress - the Willie Mason thing probably being emblematic of that.
