Sandercock remarked the other day Josh Hodgson could be a player to build the team around, but I am with you both Rhys and Scott need to be offered extended contracts.

| For me this has been discussed time and time again. With Lovegrove I feel it depends how much us as a club are prepared to offer him with regard too how he values himself. If its a similar figure then Lovegrove will be at the club next year, if not then he wont. Scott Taylor I feel the club will offer him what he wants, I cant see a problem with the club investing big money to get him signed up for years to come. But it will be down to wether Taylor actually wants to stay with the club, he could demand a large figure t most top super league sides. If he wants to sin somthing in the next 3 years he WILL leave the club, if he wants to stick with the club that made him and be patient with regard to silverware he may chose to sign up for a few more years. Im sure the club will do all they can to sign both for what thy are worth but its down to if the individual wants to stay at a mid table club.

| Lovegrove would deffo stay as long as he gets what he rightly deserves, theirs players here that are suppose to be more experienced and are on miles more money then him yet he smashes them on every stat; weve already seen that our club are been tight fisted with money (Mcdonnell was disgusted with his offer from us)

Too right. He was demanding a "No more ginger signings" clause in his contract.
No place for gingerism at our club.

You can keep your wink and you may aswell keep your boring attempt at trolling - if your going to do it at least make it amuzing!
Rhys is now in advanced talks with HKR about a new contract and hasnt spoke to any other clubs as of yet.
Taylor still has a year left and it we are looking at giving him a new contract already.
As for Hodgson - did you realy 'gift' us him, i thought he wanted to move because other people where been treated differently?
(Exactly why that young Blades has moved to the red side even though he is a rather big FC fan)

| Hodgson is an interesting one, think he made the correct move, as I doubt that he would have broken through at Hull, looks to improved but I still don't think he would get into the Hull 17 at hooker or backrow (his best position IMO).

Houghton and Josh interchanging at 9 would have been one of the best pairings in SL IMO.

| Hodgson to me is the long term HKR 13. As we often see a loose man will go in at dummy half to give the hooker a break and allows them to play a little more minutes.
Houghton is a real workhorse and I don't think there are too many that would say Hodgson is at his level of skill however Josh's improvement at Rovers is outstanding, he's going to grow and grow. Unfortunately for him Roby, Micallorum (sp), Burrow, Henderson and Houghton are likely to keep him out of full internationals.

If his rate of progress continues as it has then i wouldn't be so sure about that Nick, personaly i believe he has every chance.
