| What’s gone wrong?
Now that is a big question that has a lot of answers, covering several years.
Looking just at this season, we’ve had a big turnover of players, bringing in a lot from the Championship or the fringes of other SL squads. Dispiriting as it is, I guess it ain’t hugely surprising.
Ooh, at least we haven’t been nilled according to the BBC website.

| A few seasons ago, GrudgeHull stated that the club would have to wipe its own face. Since then, he and Crossland have stopped dropping money to cover losses every season. You’re now seeing a team built from gate receipts, merchandise sales, and sponsorship only.

| Very very simple. The pack is not big enough and will not win many battles,if any.The second row is ineffective. If the pack loses, the backs have little chance. That said, both first choice halves injured(if Abdul and Ellis are first choice???) Full back injured...Quinlan..a big loss.Hooker, Parcell injured again. Very slow play the ball and slow line speed when defending....Bottom line.too many injuries to key positions and not enough quality cover, plus a bang average pack....We are in BIG trouble....again!!!!!

| I think the score line reflects the fact you must have given your best
Who can ask for more
At least you only lost but avoided getting ‘beat’
That’s important

Not to worry too much, you still have 2 more games against my team Trinity, you’re nailed on for 4 league points. I think it’s becoming obvious to even the most blinkered Trinity fan, Chester is not the man for the job. Will you take him back.

| The OP title suggests something was right for it to go wrong on the first place.

Not a chance we have a good coach but he needs good players to prove that

| A lot are saying rovers lack size. Maybe the case but in Maher Mulhearn Garbett not exactly small for props. You have 2 big centres and livitt and Hadley trout are reasonably built. Still think.you will be OK.

I know what you mean, and maybe we use it as a shorthand for a lack of power/aggression/go forward/ability to win collisions.
Mulhern is pretty lean, Garbutt misses a biggish proportion of games, Maher is a bit of a project.
With the terrible injury to Mose Masoe, if Garbutt doesn’t make the squad, it is among our bigger problems still.
We don’t have Addy, Cator and Donaldson together in the squad anymore, as we did in 2017, admittedly.

| Ok lads, its time to wake up and smell the steamed tofu.
Let me tell you a story. There was once a wealthy businessman that bought a struggling professional football team from Hull. The wealthy businessman put some of his own money into the team to buy good players and the sport team started to see some success. They climbed the league, won promotion to the top tear, and challenged their nearest rivals. All was looking good until the businessman attempted to purchase land around the sports stadium so he could develop it and make lots of money. The only thing standing in the way was the local council who currently owned the said land.
Now fast forward a little. The land purchase is still up in the air. The wealthy businessman has stated that he will only carry on investing in the sport club if the land purchase is approved. He has stopped putting his own money into signing quality players and as such, results are going from bad to worse. The club finds itself in a relegation scrap could even freefall from the heights reached only a few seasons ago.
Question: Who thinks this story is about Allam? WRONG!!! Read it again and take a moment to pause and think about it.

Question
you are wrong, the land purchase was approved, it is other plans being discussed. Stop trolling.
