| With approximately 45% of the playing roster in rehab, Tim played his (now) usual hand of playing players out of position whilst also giving a SL debut to a winger. Not many would have called this result pre match. Not many would have called HKR keeping Wigan to 1 Try all game, winning at 1/2time & nilling them in the 2nd half.
I’m not getting carried away after 1 win but am giving perspective against the sheens out thread.

| Ive questioned his team selections several times but we have to put into perspective the fact we had the last pick of available players, what other coach would have done any better with what Sheens has had available?

| I Don't know one KR fan who has said they wanted Sheens out in everyday life. Forums after bad defeats may be a little different? It's generally FC trumpets playing daft again. He's done as well as anyone could with the hand dealt

His team selection often leaves me baffled, the switch of Lee/Atkin is something that I still don’t get. But last night everyone I know was calling for quinlan to go in the halves & put Dagger at FB. I don’t think anyone called it the other way round, but all us “expert fans” clearly know nothing.

Must say i agree, his selections have sometimes left me a little baffled, but with a limited squad available it worked a treat last night. Perhaps swapping players out of position will give Tim a better idea on the versatility of individual players. so he can decide who to keep, when the end of season cull starts... i dont usually believe rumours, but (lol) i've heard whispers up to a dozen players leaving. Just to say iv'e never been in the 'TIM OUT BRIGADE'

| Rumours going round where after Carl Ablett not sure why because he’s not much different to Chris Clarkson or Ben Kavanagh and he’ll probably take up more off the salary cap

I saw that today & wondered why? Not that he is not a good player but we want someone with another 5 years in them for the kind of money I assume he would want. On his selections some seem to be out of left field to me? But listening to his post match interview he is planing Atkin to be our No 9 in the long term so he may see Dagger as a halfback for the future?

| Atkin looks good at dummy half when coming of the bench, when lunts fit having them to in the team up ower game...dagger looked like he added something we really need in the half’s speed... I think we still need a controlling half back aswell.... I agree Ablett is not that bad but don’t think he will be good value for money he wants he is not much better then what we have already we need at least one big tackle busting second rower a Cook Islands or samon with size and power

Yes. Moss has played one game albeit a try scoring one. I'm sure TS has his reasons why Moss isn't in the starting line up but to start quoting stats after 1 game is a bit silly. Maybe TS sees other deficiencies in his game that we don't.

| Well iam sure we all see deficiencies in shaws game, very good goal kicker wakey ran riot on his wing in both matches as well as most other teams we have played.Do you think shaw is a better tackler than moss who played well at full back during quinlans abscence last year and shaw has only scored 3 more tries in 13 more matches.?
Also do you not think the difference in the win against wigan was helped big style by having a half back with pace rather than lee,who has played well, but is void of any pace or threat in the halves, atkins also added pace and a threat from hooker, something we havent had since lunt got injured.

| I understand the moss sentiments, and for me he should of played friday. However, you can not argue with what young Wallis has produced over these two games.
For me, Moss just doesn;t make enough yards on returns. And with quinlan at the back who is not going to get dropped rightly so, i don't think TS wants two weak returns if possible ( even more so when shaw's playing)
With carney out, my two wingers would be
Oakes
Shaw
In a couple of years a back 3 of Oakes, Wallis, Dagger will look pretty exciting

| Moss came on for the final 15 minutes at Wakefield and scored a try. He then played a full game against Hull and scored 3 tries.
So Moss has scored 4 tries and is second in our try scoring list having played one game plus 15 minutes.
