I think there is some overlap on the Venn diagram.

Now there's a conundrum.
'what's wrong with me doc?'
'Good news your mental state is fine bad news your a fanny'
Does being a fanny entitle you to benefits?

| Did anybody watch the BBC's The City and the City recently? I read the book a few years ago, which I recommend, and watched the first episode on iPlayer last week, which was pretty good if a bit reliant on voiceover narration.
It's a police procedural set in two cities that largely co-exist in the same space. For people living in either of the the two cities to be able to cope with this complex situation, they have to able to 'unsee' the other city, pretending that its sights and sounds are invisible/inaudible to them, until eventually they sort of are.
Interesting concept and an allegory for our times, perhaps.

| It does seem negative things are conveniently forgotten in FC fans world? They can cast opinions on all things Rovers yet when it's returned the stock answer is "bitter/jealous". An enlightening conversation I had on Thursday whilst watching Leeds game I was told "Minns deserved 6 years the red n white swine" then same guy ranting about Milton Keynes Dons looking like relegated and how glad he was after what they did to Wimbledon.I pointed out the irony but was told it was ok for FC to do it. I actually think a lot of the FC fans on here are fairly balanced but the couple of decent season has brought out the armchair fans who don't know the history of either club?

I’m sure we look very much the same to them.
My favourite is when they do the #BarryLilley thing.
Chucking the net a bit wider, with hindsight it is funny how Wakefield’s newco was successfully sold as a clean break, whereas (possibly because of Rangers collapse and the reaction of Celtic fans) Bradford didn’t get away with it. I suppose most people just thought it was a temporary reprieve for Wakefield, but attitudes can shift quite quickly.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Aye, watched it. Spent three hours being vaguely confused and was none the wiser at the end of it really, although, to be fair, that's a pretty standard interaction with anything for me.
I like that bloke though, what's his face, authoritative voice, used to be in The Smith's.
