BREAKING: New signing Junior Vaivai has received his visa and will arrive in the UK early next week! #WelcomeToHullKR

The outside-back will fly into the UK early next week and meet his new team-mates following a long wait for his visa application to be processed.
The visa came through in the last 24 hours and he’s booked to come into the UK on Monday,” Sheens told the Mail.
“He’s another outside back with some size and he’s got versatility – he’s played wing, centre and back-row on both sides of the field. It gives us some depth and hopefully some more thrust out of our backs. A 100+kg player always helps.”
Though Vaivai is scheduled to arrive in Hull ahead of the Easter period, Rovers are not looking to hand the former Penrith man - cousin of Hollywood actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson - a debut anytime soon.
Instead, Sheens will be patient with Vaivai, who has been keeping in shape via his personal training business back in Australia.
“We’ll assess him when he gets here – we’re not going to push him and risk injury but I’ve been keeping in touch with Junior and I’m fairly happy with the shape he’s in," Sheens added.

Could be anything? Similar profile Talanoa had before fc gave him a chance.Wish him well.Would be a good bit of PR if "The Rock " attended a game to watch his cous?

Maybe? He should be fit given his background but match fit is a different thing.With him and Moss on books and Oakes and Dagger looking real deal we are fairly stocked in outside backs A successful poaching of Lui and another Mose Size forward and job done

According to Tim he has been training indoors . That coupled with the climate change here in the U.K it may take time to get him match fit, hence why I mentioned possible stints at York .

We was offered Binek for rest of the season. I can't see why we would turn this down given the size of out pack,. Odd

According to the London fans he's a great prospect but has been poor so far this season so doesn't really make sense signing a championship prop in poor form signing him permanently is a different matter

From what i've seen of him which isn't a great deal to be fair, he looks a great prospect. I realise that according to London fans he may not be playing well at the moment, but with the right coaching he could be very good player, time will tell as they say.
Given our lack of size in the pack and in the transfer market it does beg the question..... why on earth didn't we take a punt on him.

don't think theres any vendetta against any kr fan , negative posts are always from the rag and bone men . were all fans . good ,, bad. indifferent .

Can I just comment on the negative comments . Not all Rovers supporters are “ happy clappers “, some will defend the club no matter what , others will be constructive with their criticism . It doesn’t make anyone less of a fan .
I praise the club on many aspects , I also criticise them when I feel they have made a poor decision . And I have been a fan for 38 years .

Anyway Vaivai landed in Manchester and was picked up by the club today .
