I would say this is a squad more than capable of blitzing the championship.

With that squad you'll win the Championship by a country mile however, I don't think it's strong enough to get you in to SL unless you sign 3/4 high quality players at the back end of the season like Leigh did.

I think from all the rumblings coming out of the club that is the plan. Fingers Crossed

IMO I don't think he is good enough........at least yet!

With Sheens saying that Rovers are looking to play Marsh at Fullback I can't see Quinlan coming in. Hope I'm wrong.

Unless of course the RFL change the rules !!

T.S. seems to be assembling a squad with 2 players for every position. with the exception of fullback and the wings.( hopefully players still to be announced )
So subject to not having a major injury crisis, no one should be asked to play out of position. Which should mean the team keeping it's shape even when changes are forced upon us.

You're not the coach and presumably TS has a better understanding of Matty's ability and potential than you. If he doesn't we are really in trouble.

Sorry for holding an opinion. It is only from what I have seen, if you have seen any different please explain, the kid is not a FB, he doesn't have the power or pace to be a full back and rarely beats a man. I would have at least four others from that squad play that postition before him. But again that is my opinion.

Nobody has mentioned Will Jubbs in this thread yet.

Sorry, I knew I had missed one out. I am sure Jubby has a bright future and will get plenty of game time this year as well. Looks a top prospect and one for the future for sure, his brother will be in another year or two as well.
