Well he seems happy here but I agree with you its whether rover's dig deep enough to give him the wage he deserves. I personally would make him our marquee signing.

I think that's spot on Seventies Red, and I think if we have to pay him an amount that would make him a marquee signing we should do so. We need to do everything we can to keep him. I can't see a better player to use it on that would come, plus Kelly will have been here 2 years by then and be settled in the team and at the club, there's no risk of him being a flop as there might be with a new player. He's got the potential to be one of our best overseas signings in a very long time, if we want to progress we need to keep our stars especially as he's a half back. We've had enough chopping and changing in recent years with no consistent spine.

He might think twice about signing if we don't get him a decent pack to play behind, I am seriously worried about our lack of back & front row signings, we look lightweight again.

I may be wrong but did they not say that they are looking still to sign 2 or more players yet if so when

Rumours that Kellys been scrapping in town on Saturday night, got arrested.

I heard that he was in a scuffle in Rumours but nothing more, but then got in an argument later on with some lads and got a clout in the nose for his troubles, I didn't hear anything about him been arrested.
Whatever the truth, there will no doubt be the usual hysterical shouts and table thumping from some quarters rumouring that he beat someone up, can't handle the booze etc and that he should be sacked as a result of his misdemeanours .
All I would say is the facts will no doubt all come out in the wash so to speak, as they always do. but before they do I just hope the usual suspects don't come on here spouting BS and blowing it all out of proportion based on hearsay, I wont hold my breath though.

Not heard the rumours, but just a quick reminder about how nervous we are about the uk's libel laws. They're draconian, and even if you're on the right side of them you need to pay a lawyer money, which RLfans doesn't have, to prove it. Ta.
