There might well be a number of OOC 2015 players become available as NRL clubs complete their squads/rosters, so Rovers might well be served by playing the waiting game.
If the Aussie press is anything to go by, Allgood will end up at a NRL club.
Not sure if there would be visa issues if Rovers did come into it, although the drink driving offence was downgraded to a non-conviction misdemeanour - the moral of the story here, it would seem, is to drive under the influence on a mission to save a maiden in distress, . . wearing only your skids and a t-shirt. Certainly set a precedent.
