I think that's a great bit of business for Rovers personally. I'm not convinced that what Travis brought to the table was to such a high standard we can't replace him. The big issue for me is the scrum half and the hooker role.

Any value in trying Keating at 9 spelled with Carlisle? We've got him (on paper at least) for another 2 years, and if we shuffle our deck this way, we are left with the money from the Hodgson deal and the Burns deal to replace the halves.

I'd take him if we were swapping for Keating but not Burns. We need an organiser and Hohaia isn't that type of player.

A three year deal for a player with plenty of knocks and miles on the clock with an all action style is too much for us to be offering. I agree, decent business.

Hopefully, Dobson will be rubbich at Salford and then we can sign him on loan half way through next year whilst getting the Good Doctor to pay some of his wages.

Plus his salary I am led to believe to start with a £2 for three years that's a lot of money for a 30 yr old Good business I reckon for Rovers
