Thinking about ground developments this afternoon and it got me thinking about unused space at Rovers. What ideas do people have to increase the revenues at Craven Park without costing the club huge sums of money?

First one I had was the west stand. They fitted the media box quite easily for the sky crew. Couldn't we carry on across the stand and make 7 hospitality boxes.

I think the TV booth looks the most scary shaky construction ever. Pallets attached to wire.
No idea, but can imagine space/plumbing/practicality being major hurdles but Easty is right.
We need more of these crappy booths!

Utilise the old floodlights
The East Stand

The Red Towers

We need more booths!

The obvious one for increasing (decent) capacity would be a modestly-sized simple covered terraced stand at the south end, IMO. And the other end of the east to be extended.

Boxes we've got covered with the new North stand - or thought we did until they decided to put in 8 inch portholes instead of picture windows, or whatever the issue is.

The West is what it is - improvising something for the high-end market I can't see being feasible. Good photoshopping all round though.

I think the North stand windows are OK.
Its the size of the windows in the West stand section.
I looked on Sunday. They have a blanked out central panel that should be glass
to give more viewing area.

Why can't they get another golf stand in at the south end? Then their can be no complaints of a bad view from anywhere in the ground and people would be more inclined to use that end through it have 100x better facilities.

I know a way of cutting costs of ground developments, we could move the pitch right up to the new North stand, which would mean the new East extension might not be needed as the end would then be near the south try line.

Moving the pitch will cost money
Keep the pitch where it is and don't build any extension - will cost nothing

Won't cost much, just about 20m of extra grass, if that. The ground is lop sided as it is.
