A few weeks ago Mike Smith was wetting our appetites on radio regarding someone putting money into Rovers. Nothing more has been said by the club despite the suggestion it could lead to exciting times for our club.
Anyone out there with any news regarding who the mystery person is, their plans for Rovers and the figure they wish to invest .

His new found interest in Rugby League was sparked when FC tried to sign him to play scrum-half because they wanted a "big name" to shift more season passes.
He apparently declined because he was only offered half of what Gareth Ellis is on so he thought he'd buy Rovers instead.
