The first 19 man squad of the Sandercock era will be out in a couple of hours or so, assuming the pattern of recent seasons still applies.

Cautiously optimistic about our prospects and excited about how we'll play. I can even imagine us beating Huddersfield... maybe. Feels like a long time since we sneaked, rather gloriously and fittingly, into the play-offs and then got punted out immediately, rather ignominiously. A lot of changes since and it feels very new and unfamiliar compared to 12 months ago.

I'm just looking forward to watching a competitive game of rugby! As long as the whole team gives 100% can't ask for much more.

I'm equally certain that they will continue to be our bogey team and no matter where we finish we won't beat them. It's the law.

I could be wrong (having not seen us play yet due to obvious reasons) but we seem to be a lot more willing to promote the ball, This is a new situation for teams playing against us (and us as well mind).

Not taking anything away from JM BTW as we did play that way in our last year in the NL's
I just think JM got caught in a situation where we had to play ultra regimented just to keep us up in our first year and we/he then got locked into a vicious cycle of becoming less willing to think/work outside the box when trying to improve year on year.

i think theyl miss the cut 2 with j hodgson at 13 and lovegrove and hall doin what they did in derby friendly swapping over in attack and defence but still didnt expect them both to make the 19 i guess its down to injuries

Is josh fully fit? Could be withers at 6 with josh at 9 and murrell on the bench?
