Very interesting interview, much of what he said has been covered before, but also said that he does not want to play the sport at the moment mainly for personal reasons because of his family situation.

Will be interesting to hear his side of the Paul Cooke stories one day but unfortunately for him everyone has already made their minds up about what has gone on and will just read and believe what they want to so he'll never win no matter what happens from now on in.

No respect for the guy what-so-ever

The guy IMO was a big reason why where still in SL now. He had an amazing game against Salford towards the end of 2007 that win lifted us away from Salford and gave us the impetus to go and beat Hull at the KC. We have a lot more to thank Paul for then people give him credit for I feel.

He was a massive gormclops on more than one occasion, but I do think you're right about there being a revisionism that downplays his positive contributions at a club that was still adapting to and growing in SL. Those who were disappointed with his performances rather than just his behaviour must have had higher expectations than me.
