looking forward to this one. should be a cracker.

what your predictions?

our defence is much better than it was at murrayfield, especially defending our own line. two games on the run we have only conceded three tries, all in the first half. plus we have morley and briers back to the team you faced at murrayfield, i just cant call it.

should be a cracking 0-0 then, with both teams unable to score in extra time either icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

I agree, two good teams, both had good results against each other since we came up, and the last QF we met in icon_wink.gif , but yeah too close to call.

Rovers win. icon_wink.gif

Warrington weren't that impressive last night, mind you, Rovers had just been grinding out poor wins. I can't call it.

Don't think there are any 'poor wins' in this league, especially this season when things are so tight. I'd prefer to call it winning 'ugly'.

One of those was against Hull though, loses you an amount of credibility. icon_wink.gif

Rovers will be favourites because of league position and home, and I would prefer to go into a game as underdogs.

But both teams can play very well on their day, and we have a few players back since we last met, so I'm hoping for a wire win.

Gonna be a cracker.

I fancy Rovers mainly because of their desire to get to Wembley and win the cup.

Vella should be back for us as well and that will be a massive lift for us.

Having played KR & Wire in last two games, KR are by far the better team.
Wire beat Wigan with 8 as did KR.
The KR game was one of the most brutal matches I've seen in a very long time. That was one reason perhaps why Wigan were off the pace v Wire and by all accounts KR a lot slower v Cas. Games like that take their toll on players.
Wire had an 8-1 pen count advantage in the 2nd half and despite that could only manage two tries. With that amount of possession and field position KR would have put 30+ past Wigan.
KR are 2nd in the table and Wire 10th. That is the difference between the teams.
IMO KR will win it in the halves. Dobson & Cook are in a lot better form than Briers or Monaghan. KR can switch Cook to the pack and Galea to 6 with Murrell an option to move position. Wire don't have those options.
To me it's a home banker. KR 32 Wire 12.
