The evidence:

DISCIPLINE - Sandy admitted giving away too many penalties. That's down to the attitude he coaches and the players he selects. His personal hatred of refs seems to be the only thing the players are picking up on and is affecting their game. FAILED

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT - our youngsters are good to average. The best ones were well on track before Sandy arrived. Hall and Eden are still like liabilities. FAILED

TEAM SELECTION - Caro was pinpointed at Catalans, made a couple of errors, but considering the pressure, held up well. Not appeared since. Welham rubbish but apart friends from last night kept his place. - AVERAGE

GAME PLAN - players appear to be making it up themselves. If they are not following his game plan then he is not a strong enough leader. If they ARE following his plan then his plans are rubbish. If it is the players ability to perform the plan then the plan is not matching the team skill set and either the plan is wrong or his team selection is wrong - FAILED.

I'm sure he works hard and does his best, but he just isn't a first team coach. He may be brilliant in another role, just not this one. He's out of his depth, and I think he's starting to admit it.

The same pattern seems to occur. We win a few games and there is talk of giving him another year. Then we slump in form and lose a few and the talk turns to getting rid of him. At that point, we usually get a win or two that papers over the cracks and lets CS keep plodding along in 7th-10th position which is the maximum I can see us achieving with him in charge.

If we beat Bradford and play well against Hudds he will have bought himself enough time to withstand the pressure that defeats to Saints and Leeds will put on him. Then wins against Salford and London will start the cycle again.

The point is he isnt good enough, and his comments in the media are wearing very thin now. I think he will get till the end of the season at least but I really hope no longer than that

Beating Bradford is a big if going by the last two 'performances'.

It certainly is. It just annoys me that as long as we beat the teams below us then CS keeps his job.

Our points have come from wins against Bradford and Wakey at home, Wire away, FC at home + Etihad, London at home. And draws away at Salford and Hudds.

Leeds d1cked us at home, Cas d1cked us at home, Saints and Wigan d1cked us away. The loss in France is understandable, we threw away the Widnes game. And the last 2 weeks Cas d1cked us again and Wire d1cked us at home.

I dont expect us to win every game, but I would like to at least compete with the top teams, win a few and not have to use the word 'd1cked' so many times when describing our performance. In hindsight the Wigan game wasnt worthy of the word, we played quite well and were close for most of the match.

Listening to Hudge on the radio last night, the coach's position should be all done in a couple of weeks. He was very guarded with his answers, not giving much away at all.
So what if the unthinkable happens and sandy gets a new deal? Times are tight for me personally right now and this would definitely make my mind up about a season pass next year. And I'd imagine on the back of this descision a lot of other people might feel the same. I'd say Hudge has got one of the biggest descisions to make since his tenure at our club. And I just hope he's not backing sandy through blind faith, or this could go very wrong around him.

the coaches position will decide whether I get a pass or just pick and chose next year. CS is boring me to tears atm.

Well hudge said there is a contract on the table so unless sandy doesn't sign it he'll be here next year. Maybe he can go back to oz, get a longer deal worth more money with less hassle as an assistant somewhere?

Yeah, I broadly agree with that.
Replacing Morgan and getting a development remit was never going to be easy. And he's not had much luck. The work he's done/doing putting systems in place - you'd think 3 years would be enough to get them in place, if not yet bearing fruit.
He never quite gets enough runs on the board, but we're never bad enough for quite long enough (IMO) to get shot.
I'd be okay, if not exactly enthused, by his getting another year. In the hope that this is 'his 2008' and that next year with a squad that has had a chance to gel we can climb the table.
Chester for 2015 or 2016, in a managed transition would get my vote. I'm not a fan of change for changes sake, but sometimes things need freshening up.

According to the BBC he's been offered a new contract and Hudge is keen for him to sign it quickly. I can imagine a lot of very frustrated fans on here with this news.
