| He went a bit unnoticed on Sunday, just watch the full game and he had a great game too. Think if Hall is back I would leave Scott in the middle and replace Latus on the wing. Good to see Ben Galea running a bit today too.

| Although he did have a good game he is still very much a back up player for me - we need better quality to push beyond 7/8th thats for sure.

Every team has and needs their work horse and thats what murrel is in my opinion, he also looks to have added a little more zip to his game this season after shedding a few of those burger pounds.

Totally disagree- a work horse is someone that drives the ball in and makes the hard yards that go unnoticed. Murrell is not that. Lovegrove is our workhorse at the moment for me. 50 Odd tackles against catalan and played 50/60minutes, sandy threatened to drop him for hudds game for missing afew tackles in the cats game, if the others worked as hard im sure he wudnt of had to make that many tackles- no wonder he had missed tackles. Another player who we need to tie up (especially as hes classed as homegrown) whos agent is looking at other clubs for 2013 season

| I think Murrell is very under-rated, by other teams as well as fans, that's why he was so good on Sunday. He can get on with it while the opposition are watching Dobbo.

| Murrell had a great game yesterday but if we had a fully fit squad to choose from, I don't think he's consistently good enough to be selected in our first choice 17.

| Murrell was my motm on Sunday. His distribution was first class, as was his tackling. He deserves his place in the team.

| I said it at the start of the season, its going to be difficult to fit Murrell into the team. He does have a utility tag about him but for me the discovery of Hally has made it even harder for him.
However, if Scott can maintain (and improve on) the form he is in over the next 3-4 games then he might be difficult to leave out. The problem is can he improve enough to keep his place? His downfall is lack of speed from a standing start. He has a good engine but only has one gear! In his favour, though, is his kicking game, he has a good understanding with Dobbo, very good passing skills, and he can dish out big hits.
To counter the suggestion Murrell is in good form a colleague has suggested he looks good at the moment because Dobbo has hit a rich vien of form. I can buy into that argument although you can say Scott's role is allowing Dobbo the space to run the show, something Hally isn't able to do but we know Blake does.
The thing is, though, Blake will bring so much more to Rovers (even Hally has), whereas Scott has been playing a supporting role and a good one at that. To me Scott will need to find another postion in the team unless Sandy has another switch play in question lol!

When you start to think about it Scott is gunna struggle when everyone is fit.
1-5 Obviously not.
6-7 Wont be infront of Dobbo or Green.
8-12 Doubt he will get a look in with how CS has been using his forwards as Scott just isn't big or mobile enough IMHO.
So that leaves 13 which all depends how CS want to play it, If he wants 5 monsters and a hooker on the field then that means Scott is gunna really struggle.

| Trouble with Hall at 6 is that his defence is not good enough. For all he adds in attack we lose in defence.
I thought the option to use Murrell to kick at the end of our first few attacks gave Dobbo more room later in the game.

There is rarely a time when everybody is fit. He offers good cover for the halves, can play 13 or from the bench. Valuable club-trained-qualified member of the squad IMO.
